How about taking it from someone who is absolutely colour blind, I don't see colours at all, which is where the blind bit means blind, deemed grey vision which is better explained as seeing only black & white, & yet people still ask me what does colour look like, der, so what your journal is saying is ludicrous.

There is colour blindness & there is colour perception, a big difference.

You don't need to understand "color blindness" as it reads, usually people understand and mean it that, color blinds are people, who miss green, red and brown colors.

The colors on a stoplight are actually tinted just for colorblind people. The red light is tinted orange and the green light is tinted blue.

Not a big deal, 10-20% Caucasian people are colourblind depending on who's research you trust. We still see colour but some colour is missing, good idea to research it.
