  • I love it!! I like how you actually new what each person was singing about, because on the other harry potter videos with this song they make Ginny Eponine singing about Harry who is usually everyone, but Marius. Even though Eponine is singing about Marius. So good job! I love the video!

    I think either this song or 'Do You Hear the People Sing' would work really well with stuff from the 5th movie, since that's about the whole war starting and whatnot.

    Not that I'm saying that's what you should have done, because I'm assuming anything from the 5th movie is kind of hard to come by. I was just commenting :)

  • Hmm... I'm not sure if I liked all the casting. Even though there are a lot of similarities between HP and Les Mis, I don't know if they are best expressed in "One Day More" even though it's a fantastic number. You did a good job though...

  • that was fantastic. i never would have tohught to put Harry Potter (my fave series) with Les Mis (one of my fave musicals). it's genius. i really liked hermione as eponine. if lavander brown would have been bigger in the movies, she could've been a better cosette but fleur works too. &&the dursley's as the Thenardiers was halarious!!!!

  • Whoa... Come to think of it, Cedric Diggory really does have the typical Gavroche look! You know, dreamy... Manly... Hehe. But yeah, Dumbledore would have been a better Valjean, but oh well. Haha... Ron is Marius? And the Thenardiers as the Dursleys? Priceless. I think you hit the nail perfectly in the head with the Dursleys and Cedric. Even if it is a little ironic that you used British actors to represent a musical about the French Revolution. I liked watching that.

    considering that Les Miserables is about the french revolution and the reformation of the french government...I think this song doesn't match it much...I'm a fan of both....and it sort of works...I guess.

  • I agree with ElfyGirl; Harry is SO Enjolras. Utterly and absolutely. I think Hermione should be Cosette and Lavender as Eponine though. It's so damn obvious she and Ron are going to be together by the end. As long as neither of 'em die.

  • Wow, this is actually really clever. I LOVE the Marius-Cosette-Eponine triangle as portrayed by Ron-Fleur-Hermione. Perceptive! (although as a PP stated, it makes more sense for Lavender to be Cosette, but you did what you could with what you had -- very nice!)

    And the Dursleys as the Thernardiers... LOL, I like it!

    Harry as Enjolras, though? Eh. I don't see that one so much. And is Krum meant to be Javert? What?

  • First of all, mixing Les Miserables with Harry Potter (my two great loves) earns you a big fat gold star. :D

    I enjoyed the casting (except for Krum=Javert). I think I liked Cedric the most. You go build a barricade, Ced! *pats Cedric on the head*
