We just bought one a few months ago. We love it except for the occasional "bridging" of pellets. I once had to tear it apart while we were making pullled pork. It was a pain as we had to remove the auger! So far we have done ribs, pulled pork, brisket, burgers, and salmon. Awesome machine and very little worry about grease fires or propane leaks :) Congrats fellow pellet head!
I sure can see the value of this for low and slow. But it seems to me this was just a convection oven cooking the burgers. There could be no charcoal grilled taste. Not saying they weren't good, but it couldn't be like over open coals. It could be better I guess, but I would have to taste it to believe it.
Only good smokey taste. Nothing overpowering.
