@ricciofix actually the second one was never realeased on psp, instead in Japan only they did a dvd release called Metal Gear Solid Bande Dessinée which is one and two on a dvd.

no plans for an english release.

Don't worry, the VA will probably kill the "comic" part a little bit, though the DGN is pretty damn boring. Only saw it once. And I swear to god DGN2+DGN better not cost like $40 =( or even $30, without the $20 price tag it feels like a stupid buy =( Darn I wish I had bought DGN new =( There were like 4 copies, I remember (bought PSP for PO, and I never found a DGN until recently this year).

you can take scripts and scenes of the game you like and save them

and you collect

"memories"

which you band together to create your own little plot

its really fun

The basic story of MGS2, though many scenes are heavily altered. And there is one extra scene where "Pliskin" meets Cyborg Ninja. Apart from that, the comic basically revolves around Raiden.

I don't think Digital Graphic Novel 2 has officially been announced here. Not saying that its not coming, but so far it appears in Kojima Production's Japanese website.

For those of us who actually know Japanese (and not just think they do because of watching anime and playing video games), the continually breathless and melodramatic tone of Japanese voice acting grows more than a little tiresome after a while. It's not nearly as well-acted as one might like to think. It's never convincing, as it's not meant to be so. Real Japanese conversation never sounds like it does in anime or games.
