Both Winter and Wallace were in the band Brother before joining The Guess Who. Kurt joined June 1970 and Bill in early 1972. Obviously, this was another song Winter and Wallace composed earlier, like Hand Me Down World and Bus Rider.
Where did you GET this????? And what's with the title? The first part is, of course,
Heaven Only Moved Once Yesterday, which is on the ROCKIN' album, and the second number is from "Hamba Gahle-Usalang Gahle," which is on the ARTIFICIAL PARADISE album. The "version" on here features a completely different arrangement than the version found on ARTIFICIAL PARADISE. I have ROCKIN' on LP, and I downloaded it from iTunes, but I've never heard this version...Thanks for posting!
@actormanic this was b4 artificial paradise and was listed as one song titled "lost sheep" written by winter/wallace/schmidt, recorded during the rockin' album sessions
@Tritan2095 Yeah, I know his was before Artificial Paradise, but it's interesting to hear this "early" incarnation of Hamba Gahle. By the time they recorded Artificial Paradise, the arrangement was completely changed...Anyway, I'm still curious as to where you got this. Is it on a particular CD re-issue?...Thanks...

@Tritan2095
Interesting the writing credits list Bill Wallace, when Jim Kale was still with the band during the Rockin' album.
