Yeah guess what, Desert Combat was the mod that got the Desert Combat Mod team hired by EA to develop Battlefield 2 (then subsequently fired). Call of Duty boys didn't wanna make yet another WWII game and mixed it up :p
It's not that lucky and definitely not hacking. Just someone who has played DC a lot. After a few years of playing people got deadly accurate with RPGs. The dev team actually replaced manpad SAMs with RPGs on that map and blackhawks were still shot down frequently.
Man, I remembeer desert combat! it was so much fun and it all looked great. It's like bf2, but free and with more interesting vehicles. I remember launching scuds at the enemy camps and getting kicked from servers because the damn thing killed everything, including friendly basecambers! Nice memory trip, thanks

It is fun in BFV to fire the sks at fighter planes, I think I killed 2 fighter planes in 1 round.
