  • Richard Dunn needs bones

  • i like it.

  • I the proud owner of an epiphone G-400

  • Richard Dunn!

  • Yes, thats true, I dont know any great musician, who started to play on expensive guitar, they all were poor and started with old crap and I think that those hard times give them influence, not like those rich lazy fat boys with Gibson les pauls or strats, who plays 3chord songs and acts like guitar heroes :D

  • bottom line, you don't have to be an elitist-douche to be a good musician. most of those high end, high-strung musicians never worked a day in their lives anyway.

  • Who cares, if it's Epiphone or Gibson, Squier or Fender - Every guitar is beautiful, and if you love her, so that's what I call "PASSION".

    (btw. Im Epiphone LP-100 owner)

  • I love my Epis as much as my Gibsons. The Epis have taken alot more abuse, and play and sound just as good as the Gibson, so anybody who says Epiphone sucks compared to Gibson, go fuck yourself

  • @Glockenator

    They BOTH suck!..

    FENDER ALL THE WAY BABY

  • @dangraphic Yet another idiot fanboy who can't appreciate all brands of guitars

  • @Glockenator

Who are you calling an idiot? Why because I refuse to pay 4K for a guitar that has less features than my other instruments? No, I'm not the idiot here. by the way, I'm as much a fan of Fender as I am of any other well made NON-OVERPRICED axe. Gibson has great guitars, granted, they just can't seem to understand this ordeal called "the current economy". So before you go splurging in yet another undocumented and false description of me___come to the realization, Gibson doesn't care.

  • Epiphone! The perfect guitar for nerds and geriatric abusers! I wonder if this ad actually increased their sales?

  • jajjaajjaja

  • the best musicians in history never had fancy guitars- they all started how young and poor- like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Brian May (made his own guitar), David Lindley (specilizes in using cheap deptartment store guitars to make unique sounds), etc. its about working with t=what you have to make something good

  • Comment removed

  • @QueenBeatlesWings LOL Brian May made his own guitar to get all the features and wiring that no brand could give him, not because he was poor!.

  • i have dat black sg

  • i wanna live there

  • wats up with the indian-osama-bin-laden playing the badass riviera at 0:15

  • i dont get it

  • That's funny right there I don't care who you are!

  • I hate how epiphone turned out. It's like honda buying toyota and making toyotas crap and making a toyota civic which is cheaper and crappier than a honda civic

  • there's a toyota civic now? wow I'm pretty behind with the news.

  • eu tenho um dessa.....

  • Who is the man at 00:15? or better yet, who is he playing?

  • LOL yeah old dude with a lighter!!

  • the les paul in this video is big , no normal

  • epiphone is a great brand, dont let the prices fool you, they have amazing instruments for $150

  • SG FOREVEEEEEEEEEER!

  • Les Paul Guitars rocks!!!

  • i love SGs

  • DOES anyone KNOW what the jazz Guitar plaer is playing ?!?!?! PLEASE TELL ME SOME ONE FAST !

  • ähm....do you mean the guitar?

It´s an Epiphone Riviera I think with 2 minihumbuckers.....

  • It looks so fun, so intense...all the playing people!

Gotta love the feeling of guitar!

  • Ok so what if you truly love the guitar with a passion but you don't have the kind of money for a Gibson?

  • @salerac buy an Epiphone Les Paul but over time replace the parts with Gibson pickups, tuners, and all that crap. eventually it will be pretty much as good as the real mccoy

  • @salerac

Then go play an ESP until you save up for a real instrument.

  • @salerac get ibanez or esp.

  • @salerac Nothing wrong with an Epiphone at all. depending if its a cheap one or a more expensive one ( still cheap ) Gibson is generally better tho

  • @salerac save your money or buy a mexican strat

  • wow. . . harsh. . Ive played many a venue and when it hits the fan its the intensity, conviction and talent that spur me. the most amazing musicians are usually playing destroyed out of date machinery. . the pretty people have the new shiney 3000 dollar guitars. . however this is a generalization . . much like yours

  • yes but some gibsons build quality is shit look up 'bc rich versus gibson' and you'll see

  • you can take any epiphone and make it sound tremendous with sum new pups and new tuners. thats what done with my g-400 its a great sounding guitar

  • i tend to think that whether its branded original or copied...its not really the matter of whose got the best guitar by the best brands...it really is the player himself....how talented he or she is in the music they make....whether its rock, jazz or even blues....its when your optimistic enough to see then that's when we won't make remarks like you suck or he sucks or what so ever...everyone is entitled to what they like playing..don't you think so?....So Ori or Not...Play well play hard...Peace

  • I'm an older cat and have been fortunate to have been able to play guitar professionally during my twenties as a session player, and must stand up and fucking applaud you. It's nice to see a young rocker like you realize what music is all about in this day and age of posturing and disrespect. There are too many kids being immature, taking the low road and talking shit, but you tell like it is. Keep it up, you got the right idea!

  • nice comercial...hahaha

  • the reason why so many people put so much importance in having a gibson over an epiphone is because they suck at guitar. anybody who plays well and has talent can make a $200 epiphone sound better than a poser with a gibson.

  • well said but ther'res still some people with gibsons who are talented

  • well gibson quality is obviously a factor dont be stupid

  • i dug that jazz man myself

  • same he was sweet

  • That Jazzer was on a 12 string!

  • the old man with the lighter rulez

  • does anyone know how i can download this video?

  • Nothing wrong with Epiphone guitars. They play just as well as Gibsons, but cost less. Some Epiphones can even surpass the quality of a cheap Gibson.

  • i agree entirely. i recently tried out a les paul studio, left handed, and my "cheap ass" epiphone kicks the crap otu of it.

  • all gibson studios and a majority of their guitars seem as though they're tossed together in a hurry

  • well, every company tries to make a quick buck off of a famous design. BC rich with it's Bronze series, Gibson with it's Faded and Studio series, Gretsch and their Electromatic series, et cetera.

  • not just the faded & studios... almost everyone ive owned, and played weren't worth the tag because of bad measurements and such things.

  • i completely agree, i got an epiphone firebird studio for $450 and its sounds better than anyone elses guitar in my school and their all rich kids with gibson les pauls and fender strats. mind you i'm not the best at playing but i can hold my own. so brand really doesnt matter

  • who is the crazy black jazz player? he is phenominal!

  • yeah, but why does he play jazz on a 12-string?

  • who cares? he plays it sick!

  • Why not?

  • lol

  • It's not what you play, but that you play!

  • That guy is playing "Ride of the Valkyries" by Wagner, I think

  • Does someone know what song they are playing?

Especially the guy on the les paul

    ????

  • IT'S THE OLD GUY FROM TIM AND ERIC!!!

  • they're pretty solidly built, but the frets ring, the paint sucks, the tuners suck, and the pickups suck. at least on my cheap epi.

  • the tuners are better than some gibsons. unless you have like a special or somethin epi's come with grovers, which are the best.

  • I have a special. That's why it sucks so much. Once you spend about 300 bucks on an epi though, they blur the line of quality between gibsons and epis. I know that I couldn't tell the difference between a zakk wylde epi and a gibson model.

  • it ain't always the guitar, it's the guitarist.

  • Definately.

  • Damn Strait! I Have A Crappy Old Toy Guitar That My Brother Put Metal Strings And Sounds Horrible When I Play Cords! But Don't Hear Me Bitching!

  • That is my experience as well. I've made a series of videos on inexpensive guitars. You don't have to spend a fortune--just "enough". It's hard to beat an Epiphone for the price--AND they have a large selection of different models to boot!

  • lol, luckily my older brother also let me have his 2004 Yamaha F-335

  • I tested out the cheaper SG and didn't like it. Then I tried the G400 that I got for a great price and it's great! I have none of the problems mentioned here--and it's one of the most played guitars in my collection. Fast neck, beautiful finish, great tone and inexpensive. Can't beat that with a stick. See my vid on it.

  • i got and G-400 too theres NOTHING wrongg with it

  • Wicked

  • cool

  • heheh

    luvin it

  • fuckin nice

  • jajajaja ...great
