Guys I loved the movie but Big old johnny was a killer, a thief, and a crook. Think for a second. In a time of great depression he stole money and made bad times worse. He stole from the people who were trying to save the people from this great depression
@warfreaks97 yet around this time, he was looked to as a man making his own way. most people were tired of the governments handling of the problem and saw him as a rebel. also hes not a killer. he killed one man, and that is even debated
Plus the banks and cops were probably more corrupt than Big John. Banks foreclosing on poor farmers and becoming richer. Same thing happening today. After I watched the movie, I am thinking of not using banks anymore.
A tribute to the big John Dillinger.. not only a gangster.. but also a gentleman that in the period of the great depression deleted the debt of lot of poor people burning the records of their debts! You are unforgettable John Dillinger.
Movie, song and johhny depp is awesome. Best film i've ever seen man. Just enjoy the song. You can't find a film like this, the golden age of bank robbing is over but also the golden age of the movies is over. Now there are almost shitty movies.
@michekk he got wounded by the fbi when him and his men like faced 14 of them and killed them all, he got wounded alot. then later down the road he was in a ditch, with like some significant item his girlfriend left him.
@michekk Its called a creative license. You are supposed to go into the movie knowing some things are going to be false. Go watch a documentary if your gonna be that critical. god.
U know what I have to agre with those of U which R saing that this is not good movie ... I can say that the only thing what was gfreat is That SONG I love it ;D
i stopped watching this after like the 3rd time he broke out of jail, im sorry but this wasnt a verry good movie. first he broke his gang out of prison, then he robbed a bank and went to a hotel, got aressted, broke out robbed a banks when back to a hotel, got arested, broke out, then i turned it off.
but it's a true story! read about "the wooden pistol jail break" in Wikipedia. just look at the real John Dillinger's face and u'll realize that he was a one of a kind bank robber
Finally, a video with not ONE DISLIKE!
