  • to hard for me

  • THANKS!!!

  • thanks

  • thx

  • @vector222 Thanks MAN!

  • @vector222 thank you

  • @vector222 super kind of you. Thank you

  • @vector222 its funny how he changed the way he inverts. its not linear. from bass to high: the 1st invertions were> 3rd, root, 5th, 7th. If u follow this, the C would be inverted like this> X7X586 and the 2nd F like this X12X101312....just saying :) cuz i was rebuilding to challenge myself :)))

  • @brewjake you want a cookie?

  • @vector222 WHAT IS THIS

  • This is very good, but what would improve it would be a little side window showing chord diagram boxes, as it is hard to see what strings some of your fingers are on..

    hanks though this is helpful

  • lol, its an institution, they can't give it all away for free :P

  • very well

    and sounds very cool xD

    thanks

  • its good

  • so calm and good hearing :-d

  • im so glad i play bass....

  • thats y guitars so special when you go really deep into it, its really a world you cant ever finish learning

  • bass can be harder than guitar at times. if you look at the really amazing bass players out there some of the stuff they do is insane.

  • same thing goes for lead guitars

  • Who cares how hard they are? What matters is what you can do with it. Bass and guitar are different instruments

  • Exactly, its not about about how hard it is its about the sounds you can make with it

  • Billy Sheehan. Google him.

  • 1-1-II-II-V-V-I-I

    F∆, F∆/A, G-7, G-7/Bb, C7, C7/E, F∆, F∆/A

Each chord is played root position, then 1st inversion. He uses drop 2 voice, but switches to drop 2 for the V and I chord. Then he repeats in G.

To keep the sequence in the top note, play V in 3rd inversion and root position and I (second time) in 2nd and third inversion.

    F∆, F∆/A, G-7, G-7/Bb, C7/Bb, C7, F∆/C, F∆/E

    This yields, top note, in the key of F, starting with F∆: F∆ | G- | C7 | F∆ |

    c e | d f | e g | f a |

  • thats more than charracters e can have for a youtube comment

  • 1X223X - 5X355X - 3X333X - 6X576X - X3535X

X7858X - XX3555 - XX7968 - then move those shapes up and start at the G on the 6th string... some of the shapes have reachable octaves of notes in the chord, like the second shape 5X355X can be played 533555 or 53355X, enjoy

  • 1X221X - the first chord Fmaj7

  • nice, thanks for tabbing that out

  • he´s doing the first inversion of each cord, Fmaj, Gm7 and C7 and the littel Fmaj on top 4 strings and its inversion.I hope it helps

  • mm maybe Fmaj7, Am13, Gm7, Bb13 or Gm7/Bb, C7, C7/E because it has Bb (it's like an invertion), Gmaj7, Fmaj7 and Am13

  • on any progressive pattern i always fall back on augmented or diminished fifths and purceed in a parallel circle of fifths. but this tends to cause numbness in my ring finger, my technique is definitely for advanced users only

  • inversions are cool. they allow less movement between chords. also good to know 1st and 2nd inversions of triads, 9ths... etc.. can give you more ideas.

  • cool, but i havent bothered to learn the 7th chords which i love yet though. hahhhah

  • Chords are: Fmaj7/F, Fmaj7/A, Gmin7/G, Gmin7/Bb,

C7/C (fifth string bass), C7,E, Fmaj7/F(fourth string bass), Fmaj7/A and then repeat stratung with Gmaj7/G on sixth string, etc..

  • can u put those in tabs like D chord is XX0232

  • Be careful relying on tabs, go to a music store and buy a chord chart and learn them. Or look for a free one on line.

  • @ franco6719,

Thanks for your explanation, very helpful to me even two years later :)

  • The chords are Fmaj7/F, Fmaj7/A, Gmin7/G, Gmin7/Bb, Cmaj7/C, Cmaj7/E and so on. It's just a chord inversion exercise, there is no key.

  • it definitely was not a c maj7. it was C dominant. and the key is F Major and then changes to G major.

  • what are those chords

    !?????+

  • what key is that in?

  • where can i get a tab version of all the chords

  • The chords are Fmaj7/F, Fmaj7/A, Gmin7/G, Gmin7/Bb, Cmaj7/C, Cmaj7/E i think, so just type them into guitar pro and there you have it:)

  • Cdom7, not maj7. IDK about tabs coming before written music, but in some cases tabs make a hell of a lot more sense. if you want to duplicate something exactly, tabs are way more useful than sheet music

  • really great...keep it up!!!

  • cool sequence, I'll practice it
