those flying colorado to denver or reverse. the locals fondly refer to the flight of 20 minutes of terror because of all the turbulance. Rule of thumb fly in and out of the springs before 11am

Don't really remember. It was only a 25 min flight if that. Also, right after we landed Denver airport started diverting flights to colorado springs because of microbursts.

Cool! I have taken this flight numeous times. It is usually pretty bumpy between DEN and COS. Thanks for posting this! Reminds me how glad I am to live here in Colorado Springs.

Not Even I Took A Flight From Phx-cos and had to stop in Denver to switch planes and we flew over to cos and it took about 10 to 15 minutes MAX. IT was a CRJ700 though from united express
