  • The box art is different than the one in the other videos...

  • 1 DISLIKE MY GOD did you expect, JUSTIN BIEBER SINGING FOR YOU?

  • @pharanzouking18 The dislike was from Dracula.

  • @get dead151 man I'll take a side scroller game like this everyday of the week

  • Badass

  • I always thought this was a pretty dark and suspenseful sounding tune.

  • Anyone else notice how very generic and shitty modern boxart is compared to the SNES boxarts?

  • @MisterCrim I think it's because back then companies didn't have social networking or the internet through which to advertise so they had to sell a game through it's boxart. You can get away with generic badass pose or name on black background because of videos and review sites now.

  • companies think all games need to be 3D or people wont want it...sidescrollers are pretty much dead...boooo

  • @GetDead151 Well, in 2006, the was Mother 3 (GBA) (Japan) and there's an emulator with a well made fan translation in english.....Yea...There were some great 2D games...

But, three's also some great 3D games (Rune:Viking Warlord).

  • Please Konami bring back the gameplay style of super castlevania 4 because it has everything you expect in a great game and bring back simon belmont and bring back the 2D style for the home consoles and bring back wiping hearts out of the wall for ammo and bring back wiping pork chops out of the wall and a chicken leg in candles

  • @irelandcool1 Yeah!!!! I miss the 2d style in Castlevania is the best, my fav game in 3d is Castlevania 64 the only one.

  • @JFPRe Yeah and I want the style of super castlevania not a metroidvania style

  • this was some crzy music for me!!! i was legit scared

  • listen the drums just get harder and harder hitting..love it

  • This song is dead serious. Errr, or would it be, Undead Serious. Either way, this is one of my favorite Castlevania tunes. <3 Thanks for the upload

  • I always thought that this one was the scariest of them all.

  • "jesus christ im fucked"

Then I tried to leave the screen to the left and go home :(

  • Like if you had five or more demon rabbits chasing you at one point.

  • Whats the name of the Grim Reaper music

  • @irelandcool1 Room of close associates (Slogra, Gaibon and Death stage.)

  • Prepare your anus

  • Thats a realy cold dude walking in. I have seen the things waiting for him.

  • did anyone ever did a remix to this?

  • @RetroHunter06 check: /watch?v=G5RXkeZBO3M&feature=BF&list=UL32QUVlZ3LXE&index=2

  • @deLippi thx! didn't enjoy that one too much though... do u know any others?

  • This song is so fucking serious!

  • @DarkFocust Well put.

  • @DarkFocust Well said.

  • You can also use Freecorder 4. It's a great, FREE program that allows you snag sound files of anything you're listening to on the computer and convert them into mp3s. ;D

  • Creepy and epic!

  • It almost feels like you are approaching the final boss, but instead you are heading inside the heart of evil! Bwahahahaha! Happy Halloween, Simon Belmont! :D

  • *urinates down leg*

  • Dum dum dum dum! dum!!! Bass!

  • I've got most of these on my phone, & I also made a cd to play in my car. I'm either nerd or dedicated.

  • @ThrobnWood Please TELL ME HOW??!!!

  • @SiRTHiZZL3 I will tell, but only if ye can answer me these questions three... On second thought, I don't have three questions so I'll just tell! :3 I downloaded them from a people to people thingy, Ares or Limewire or summat. Pretty sure it was Ares. Ye need to be dedicated to the search if ye want to find all the tunes though. Typing in 'Super Castlevania IV' ( or 4 ) should obviously get most of them, but remember these programs rely on users being online, & labeling there files properly.

  • @ThrobnWood you can also google castlevania lore and it'll take you to a site which has ALL the music in the castlevania series (including jap. games)

  • @psycholink44 By all that is Castlevania, it's true! I swear I've seen that sight afore now, though I can't remember why I didn't use it for aquiring le music. But now it's all there & oh so easy to download! :>

  • @SiRTHiZZL3 Thanks to psycholink44 we now have an even awesomer way to get the music. A website called 'Castlevania Lore' has all ye could ever need.. It's perrrty too. :3

  • I bet the composer of this music was a metalhead.

  • god the snes was a great system

  • @rast123456789 How about the sega Megadriv

  • damn...NO ONE DISLIKES THIS!

  • superrr coool song and this part is hard all the monsters keep f*cking around!!!!

  • Every single time, I would be scared shitless and try to rush through this level as fast as I can when I was a kid :P

  • @Hittman305 Nah thats ok. This music would definately fuck with ya in that condition.

  • 0:33 gives me the chills

  • Anyone know the name of the song from the short area immediately after this one right before you entre the castle? I remember it being really creepy but I can't find it.

  • @psychicsandwich7 the cellar?

  • @psychicsandwich7 Main Hall theme :D i can play it on piano hehe

  • @psychicsandwich7 its called the courtyard

  • @Hittman305 Sorry to hear that. You're not alone when it comes to listening to these tunes every now and then but everyone lacked the enthusiasm to take it to the next level like you did. Then again, your story isn't to far off from what I hear about some of the Japanese.

  • @Hittman305 Yes.

  • @Hittman305 no u r not lol bro keep rockin

  • are there any other versions to the songs of this game or is this it? where can i download all the OST?

  • @smokindnd i get the from Ares

  • Attack of the Bunny Rabbits!

  • this was my favorite song when i was a kid this and waterfall

  • Very moody and somber track.

  • TO BE FAIR to the genesis. FM synthesis is the SHIT. SNES was all sample based. Genesis was straight up chiptune! That distinct sound genesis games had was the FM chip, I thought it sounded awesome. But I always favored SNES because it's the system I had + the orchestral scores were out of this world.

  • sonic series is where it ends for good music on sega basically and thats its systems main export snes has an ensless list of good music and only a few come from any super mario series

  • what is the theme called that plays right b4 you enter the castle?

  • The Spinning Room.

  • no, the end of stage 5 with the creepy music

  • Oh, I see what you mean.

That's the real entrance to the castle. The song is also the introduction to the game.

  • @alternateshadow300 i found it. It's called The Courtyard

  • Okay, good

  • Fucking Epic...

It's downright laughable when you hear these tracks, and then think back on the system war between the Snes and Genesis.

I remember all my Sega friends playing muddy colored, lazy detailed shit that had sound like "All your base" while I was grooving to tracks like this. Then Id invite them over to see what a real system was all about can you say neighborhood Nintendo Pwnage?

  • there were so many people back then that advocated genesis though. Stupidly imo. i mean the superiority of the snes was immediately obvious. I feel the same way about the war between ps3 and xbox 360 today. ps3 is far superior in every way, but u still see fools acting like 360 is the best.

  • I really don't think there will ever be a system war as completely unequal as Snes Genesis war...

The PS3 and 360 for example, even though the PS3 has a slight edge in it's capabilities, certain games on those 2 systems still turn out looking identical (Modern Warfare 2 for example).

The same can't be said for the Snes and Genesis though, nothing was even close to being on the same level. The vulgar display of dominance the Snes held over the Genesis probably won't ever be seen again.

  • lol this snes games...

when you arrive here you say...

good i'am near of the end...

lol like zelda 3 it's just DA BEGINNING MAN!!!!!!

  • Frogs are your friends.

    Rabbits too.

  • Full on! attack the demon horde!!!

  • wasnt the song from castlevania 2 remixed in this one i cant find it

  • The sound is so big for being nothing more than a 16 bit entertainment system!

Konami definetly had some of the best music programmers in the world for sure.

  • I agree. Also, have you heard Super Metroid's Norfair music? That sound is ENORMOUS

  • the final challenge is about to take place...

  • Nice. So did they actually put out like a soundtrack CD to this game constantlimit (or anyone else)? I don't think it's a ridiculous idea by any means- I'd probably buy it. How did you get the music? I'd like to get a copy of these songs.

  • WAR!!! so epic.

  • this music is sexy

I miss this game a lot

  • Best song of the game! i would play this level just to hear the music

  • this game brings back so much memmories Konomi Rules!!!

  • You mean Konami..

  • this game,s music proved the true lpotential of the weel advanced snes soundchip of it,s time.

decompressing/sampling & generating 16bit sound, wich is clear as cd quality sound!

  • SNES sound was dominant over Sega Gen in every pos way especialy when it game 2 sound affects and most important music. Long live SNES

  • This music wouldn't quite be as scary if not for those terrifying white harpies that come out of nowhere, the ones that go "BLOOGOCK!!!!" when you hit them.

  • nonono, it was demonic harpys dropping killer rabbits...

there are two parts in this stage - one in the forest and the other with skeletons. If you move back from the skeleton substage into the forest you'll find tons of demonic harpys and their killer frogs...

  • NicE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • When does this play again?

  • I think this is occurs after you beat the golemn boss and right before the entrance hall

if i remember correctly the mussic just outside the castle fighting harpys droping demonic frogs creapy but fun stage.

  • v.dark sounds like your going to war

  • Well in the game, you are in a sense

  • fucking epic!!!! I pissed myself listening to this

  • this game was soo fucking good at making the music fit the scenery and what you must do, and the objective at hand

    infiltrate draculas castle, defeat dracula,

  • Brutal!

  • InTO, actually. Yes, it's anal-retentative, but this plays going into the castle.

  • give your life to simon or have simons life taken!!! make the choice quickly!!!

  • Prepare for battle.....for the enemy is near

  • Thank you so much for posting this! to me this is one of the all-time greatest vg tracks!
