I'm sorry. But I have to disagree completely. Final Fantasy tugs at the emotions of all who experience any of it. The games. The movies. It doesn't matter.
And Hate Me is an extremely emotional song. I think its beautiful.

If you wanted to go on a date with Aerith, Tifa, Yuffie, or Barret, that's fine, Square made it so it could be so; Cloud and Aerith were, however, the intended couple of the game, despite who you go out with.

For a Tifa hater..this song is strangely ROMANTIC towards them....It shows Clouds love for her and his feelings of him thinking she might hate him so as a Tifa hater or Cloti hater of whatever piece of BS shit you are, you failed.

I don't know how far into the game you'd be at this point, but nothing happened between Tifa and Zack except their few interactions at Nibelheim. And, according to the game, Cloud displays twice as much affection for Aerith than he does for Tifa (there is a website that actually proved that).

What happened between Zack and Tifa was a photo at Nibelheim with Sephiroth. They have no relation besides her being a tourer and him being a tourist along side Sephiroth who was activly on duty to inspect the Mt. Nibel reactor for strange activities and her once again showing them and being a guide to an unknown region. Why the picture , because Sephiroth was their. Its not every day a famous elite warrior such as himself bestows his presence in such a calm place such as Nibelheim...
Even if you don't like the band, I don't see how anyone can listen to this song and not be moved.
