  • are u scientoligists?

  • Gordy is not a Scientologist, nor is this a requisite or expectation for anyone working in Narconon, or going through the Narconon Program. Narconon is a state-licensed drug rehab open to all.

  • Don't believe everything you read. Investigate the truth for yourself. Narconon operates on the sole purpose of cleaning up drug addicts to save their lives and turn them into contributing members to society.

  • Good presentation from someone who was there at the beginning of the Narconon program decades ago, and is still involved today.

  • narconon is true method. it is working very good. others are saying lie. norconon is not a religious act. its scientific rehabilitation method.

  • This man is the number four graduate of Narconon. He graduated 42 years ago from the early program.

  • gordy, you're wonderful!!

  • gordy, you are awesome.

  • Good job Gordy!!

  • Happy New Year!!

  • Great video!

  • This is very informative and should be seen by those who have doubt about recovering from alcohol and drug addiction.

  • Narconon is a great drug treatment facility.

  • Gordy is a mainstay at Narconon

  • Go Gordy!

  • Gordy is a character. ;)

  • Gordy is awesome. Love to hear him speak.

  • Awesome Gordy. You really show your sense of humor!

  • Talk to your kids about the effects of alcohol, illegal drugs, and prescription drug abuse. They will listen to you. And if you dont talk to them, someone else will and they wont be saying the right things.

Promote drug and alcohol prevention in your family and community.

  • Addicts sometimes do bad things. Does this make them bad people? Of course not. They are addicted. Once in treatment, and they start getting control of their life and addiction, the things that they once considered important start becoming important again. Friends, family, and career start becoming something they want to have again. This is a sign of successful recovery.

  • Gordy is an inspiration to us all!

  • Gordy is awesome. He loves to talk about the program. Give him a call.

  • Gordy is one of the original success stories!

  • This is a great program.

  • Gordy does a great job helping get people off drugs.

  • I find it interesting how others can comment about the Narconon program when they know nothing about it. We should invite them to come and see what we are all about and then let them pass judgement.

  • Drug addiction does not have to be a perpetual curse. Get treatment and live a happy drug-free life.

  • Gordy does a great job. Narconon is lucky to have him.

  • Thanks Gordy for all you have done and all you do. Keep helping Narconon and people get off drugs

  • Thanks Allison for all you do at houseing. You are doing a wonderful job making sure the students feel comfortable for their stay.

  • Thanks Adam! Thank you for all your help. I hope that you don't take off from housing for too long. I will miss you too much. :-D YOu make such a difference.

  • Gordy sound like he knows what he is talking about.

  • Excellent video!

  • Great video Gordy!!!

  • Awesome job Gordy! Keep up the great work!

  • Gordy is doin well, thank you!

  • Gordy is a wonderful guy and a pleasure to work with. He really does alot for Narconon.

  • An amazing story about recovery. The true experts on Narconon would be its graduates who have been there, done that, and achieved drug free lives. It must have been something to be there at the beginning. Terrific that Bill Benitez, although he started in prison as a heroin addict, had the gumption to found Narconon drug rehab outside. What a story of success. Keep it up! Keep it up! God bless you all.

  • great video

  • Hey Narconon! Narconon Rocks!!!

  • Good Job Gordy!!

  • I love Narconon!!

    Drug Rehabilitaiton

    and end Addiction FOREVER

    Narconon is NOT narCONon!

Narconon helped me TONS because it really works.

  • Thank you Gordy for all you do at Narconon! You are great!

  • Who the hell keeps going thru Narconon videos putting thumbs down? I bet you dont even watch the video and see what Gordy has to say. Have you taken the time to watch any of the graduation videos?

    watch?v=p3R78uaWV_0&feature=user

  • Gordy, very well done, you are a good example (Meaning that Narconon really works)

    GO NARCONON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Gordy remains a great tribute to the Narconon program.

  • That is awsome! why is it so hard to get it? get off from drugs and recover your life! there is a way to solve it. Narconon is a great option!

  • Gordy is the Man!

  • Gordy you the man!! Thanks for all your hard work. your really helping people.

  • Narconon! I love Narconon!

  • A personal thank you for your help yesterday keeping another person off of drugs and moving forward with her life.

  • Listen to Gordy, He was there when the whole Narconon Program started.

  • My freind,

It's not that "Narconon's do not take Medicare or Medicaid" It is that Medicare and Medicaid WILL NOT cover this program, because it doesnt use drugs (non-medical) Narconon would LOVE to take ANY form of payment which would allow ANYONE to do the program...Or just have the govrement cover it all! They will not.

  • I could name numerous programs that don't require any insurance at all. How about donations from the Celebrity Center? How about donations from anyone. If I had the means and Narconon meant that much to me, I'd do whatever I could to help those who need it. We all need to learn to take care of ourselves, but a great deal require the help and generosity of those in positions that allow them to help. And Medicare paid for my entire hospital stay when I needed medical care to withdraw.

  • So now your going socialist? Donations from the Celebrity Center? They are a non profit church group, they have nothing to do with Narconon. As I said earlier Medical wount cover Narconon...sooooo. Narconon tries to keep the price as low as possible but there is a limit. If you or anyone you know would like to pay for a bed so someone who could not afford it could do the program contact Narconon Georgia and I'm sure Mary will LOVE to talk to you.

    Love

    Lizzy

  • house,

Please, I would like to know the "numerous" RESIDENTIAL programs you could name that are free. (No payment of any kind...government funding, insurance or some kind of funding.) Even homeless shelters are funded by "trusts" or the government.

I do agree with you in principal, and did you know that EVERY Narconon has beds set aside for "study exchange"? This is for people who cannot afford the program to be able to work part time at the Narconon to pay for their program.

  • Some programs such as Teen Challenge require that you work there in exchange for treatment.

  • Exactly my point. Nothing is for "free".

Most Narconon Centers also have something called "study exchange" where you work in exchange for the courses.

  • The purpose of Narconon is to get people off of drugs and lead a successful, productive life. That's it. Ask Gordy! Thanks Lizzy!

  • Happy Narconon Graduate!!

  • Thanks for speaking for all of us Gordy!

    Narconon Saved my Life!

  • Great job Gorden keep up the good work!!

  • Apparently Narconon works. I never use drugs, but if I did, and I wanted to stop, then I would try Narconon.

  • I really like him much better than that lunatic who doesn't know anything about Narconon.

  • I think it is pretty awful to call Gordy a liar. He is one of the first Narconon graduates and has been clean for 40 years. What is the lie? Were you there? And who have you helped today?

  • This is an awesome video!

  • Finally. Someone tells the TRUTH about Narconon and isn't drunk and raving. Thanks Gordy.

  • I love you Gordy! Narconon is lucky to have you! You mean so much to so many students

  • I work for Narconon and Gordy is a wonderful example of the success that this program provides. Thank you Gordy for helping start this program and helping people get off drugs. I am so glad you told the real story of Narconon also because I am tired of hearing other things. I don't believe them because I have seen this program work. People it works. If you really need to get into this program contact us, we will help you find a way.

  • I know Gordy. A very nice man. I know he is greatly appreciated and is very helpful to others in their program.

  • People who do good work are proud to show their faces! Great job everyone.

  • Ha! funny hat! thanks for clearing up some issues!

  • Thanks Gordy. When do we get a new video? You are such an important spokes person in the world of drug addiction and drug rehab.

  • i love narconon!

  • I will check in to it and see what they require. That is a great idea. Thank you.

  • I would usually lean towards doubting your sincerity. Scientologists, I've found through countless encounters, are rarely this open. However, this is my first encounter with you and and I applaud your willingness to grow.

  • We do take insurance.

  • Way to go Gordy. You are such a inspiration. Keep up your good work!

  • I love you!!! You are so helpful. Thanks for everything.

  • I just watched this video again. Gordy, you did a great job on this. How about a follow up video on some of your wins over the years in helping others to conquer addiction and achieve lasting sobriety for themselves and loved ones?

  • LOve it!

  • This is the REAL STORY of Narconon! Straight from the horse's mouth! He was there at the beginning, he should know! Go Gordy!!

I helped three of my friends through Narconon.

  • they are doing great . thank you.

  • That is such wonderful news to hear.

  • Parents are often unsure where their influence can affect their children in terms of drug abuse or drug addiction. But with all the influences that children are exposed to in this multimedia culture, parents still do have the final word.
