  • sorry but i think the "gwo ka" of guadeloupe is better

  • I love the tone of Moumbey's djembe. It sounds beautiful.

  • How long do the konkoni skins last? I saw his was getting quite stretched by the end of that little jam. Does it just need to be retuned?

  • Well said "proe59". I was inspired in many ways when I first listened to it a while ago and was gifted with a simple rhythm I call "sacrifice" (on my channel).

Thanks for sharing that ancient rhythm - you guys are really connected man...

  • Very relaxing sound.

  • Ah, cmon you guys, just cause they aren't playing crazy fast and solo-ing their tits off, doesn't mean they're not good.

They're playing with feel, they know what they're doing.

  • Playing in 4/4 time like all western music, doesn't make you better.

  • Too mutch Slabs!

  • those guys aren;t good man...

i play also djembé, i'm much better.

  • if you feel like you have to put people down then you're not a very good musician

  • hate to say, but you're probably not. these guys play verrrrrry often, and i'm sure you're not used to such a different rythem.

  • most respect thanks for sharing

    Jah love

  • wow, that comment kind of shocked me. the white guy happens to be rootsymali and he owns rootsyrecords, he is an awsome djembe player and just accompanying someone here.

  • Too right! I thought he sounded great.

  • lol the white guy has no rythm

  • lol how lol funny lol you lol are.

    Today homework for you:

    1)Look for a dictionary.

2)Once you have found it (not before), search for the word "silly".

    3) Read it out loud (like in lol)

    4) Chew on it for as long as you need (the word...not the book)

Enough for one day. Tomorrow do the same, just change "silly" for "sarcasm".

The "white guy" did his homework, next time post a comment after you do yours.

  • he's playing accompaniment

  • even better than the last one, cool !!!

  • Is that guy using a human femur?

  • Nice performance my friend. How can i buy a Djembe?

I live in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. I have some Djembe sounds CD's and would like to practice this instrument; right?

please feel free to contact me anytime you can. ;)

    See you soon...Keep going!
