buy some celtic sea salt, add a pinch to a glass of clean water and wala, same thing. You feel better drinking it because it has all the minerals that our bodies need and our foods no longer have them. As for the sun, well the sun gets into the sea salt also..... P.s. dont use plastic!!! If you dont have clean water, buy a berkey water filter, bottled water isnt much if any cleaner than tap and add to that it has the toxins of plastic in it!
are you guys sure she's a doctor?!?... heller! she even has difficulty in speaking english, she even has difficulty in using some terms such as good for intestinals (good for your GI).... lol!... and by the way highway!... plastic containers?!!?... its toxic dear... and salt?... well, check this out:
SALT=NaCl=sodium chloride
sodium = inc. h20 absorption-> inc. water retention -> inc. body fluid, thus inc blood pressure. -> hypertension

It is widely known that most simple ions and water can easily cross a cell membrane meaning that, over time, if we place a cell into a given solution then the ion concentration of both solutions will eventually be the same. Inside a cell there are substances which CANNOT cross except via active transport. If the salt solution is of high concentration we will end up with a net water loss inside the cell to balance the solutions.
How, then, does this magical salt "detoxify" anything?
I'm not going to debate the value of minerals, but I'm sure that this video is designed to help someone sell those stupid salt crystals.
Salt does not "detoxify" your body... Ingesting a salt solution will draw water out of your tissues in order to create an osmotic balance between the solution and the rest of your body. In other words, it leeches water from your body to dissolve the mineral salts which are then distributed.
Salt water (doesn't matter what kind) dehydrates you.
@mlow76 wrong! if you use toooo much salt in a mixture it will dehydrate you. i.e. sea waters consintration is too much. You need salt to live! no salt you die! Salt in the right amount keeps water in you! Time you did some more research! you might want to start by reading your bodies many cries for water.
@wheelori814 I can accept the concentration argument, as I am aware that people contain and require salt. Here are the things I have a problem with that you did not address:
1. Drinking salt water does not "detoxify" you. This was my point. This is the same thing as with those idiotic coffee enemas--the solution when concentrated above the saline level of the human body cause dehydration--you lose water. If you really believe in this stuff please identify at least one toxin that is removed
@mlow76 drinking water alone through out the day flushes toxins out of your body! Sweating flushes toxins out of your body, so what they are saying isnt entirely a lie! When you urinate its yellow, i.e. toxins, but if you were to drink ONLY water, with or without salt it will go almost clear, and indicator that you are removing toxins. Now, the iodine in the sea salt does actually remove additional toxins like bromine. Nothing can totally detox you if you are still eating processed foods ect
@wheelori814. Table salt has iodine in it and table salt is used in many foods--therefore, I wouldn't need magic Sole salt to "detoxify" since I can just use table salt or iodized sea salt. It is a compound called urochrome which is a bi-product of hemoglobin breakdown, and the yellowness of urine is generally used to indicate how hydrated you are--clear urine means hydrated, yellow means you need more water (not salt). Good things can change the color of your urine--carrots make it orange.
@mlow76 you just proved to the world that you have not done any research by indicating table salt even with iodine, is commercially processed and leaves out all nutrition. even the iodine in it is not true iodine. Just take the time to research it. As for detox with water, check out water fasting and its effects.. If you cant take the time to do the research yourself there is no need to comment any further.
@mlow76 Yes, wheelori814 is right. Table salt does not have the same nutrition as the salt they are using in the video, nor does it contain the energy from the sun any longer.
Salt is an important part of our diet. If you don't use table salt with your food & your diet is basic, i.e not refined then its not a bad idea to supplement with a small amount of salt. Crystal salt is a good source of salt becuase it is untouched / unprocessed, its in its natural state. I leave it at that. I find all the waffle surrounding cystal salt quite embarrising such as solar energy & vibrations etc. I think had they left that information out more people would use the salt.
You don't know anything, how about you do research before you speak. Himalayan salt is not like normal salt or even like the "sea salt" many grocery stores carry. Regular salt is bad for you because it is made of JUST NaCl with the rest of the elements stripped from it...THIS is bad for us. Himalayan salt has NaCl in it but with the 88 other minerals still in tact. Therefore you're not eating as concentrated amounts of NaCl. Himalayan salt actually has the opposit effects than regular salt.

@1pick2sticks Yeah, now after giving us your two cents worth, you're gonna go stuff your fat ass with a nice greasy cheeseburger and french fries and rinse it down with a diet soda. Keep your dumb ass comments to yourself. We don't need your fucking advice. We know about plastic. We can take care of ourselves.

I would not use spring water, as not all springs are good quality. I use alkaline water to make my Sole.
