yo,i have a quik question..is there any possible way to make a 2010 or 2011 camaro with a v6 sound like a v8? and i mean this by the exhaust sound..can any one give me and answer please?

@jjsc1107 Not really, the ruble of the V8 ps particular to the V8 each additional cylinder will produce a specific sound. You can make your V6 sound deep and rumble with a variety of changed including but not limited to: Headers, intake, strait pipes, mufflers, ect. However you will never get the exact V8 rumble. It's just the way it is. Sorry buddy.

I pick up my V6 Camaro in less than a month. Skuttduck drives a ford taurus and wishes he could have one of these. 10k extra for the ss... id rather turbo mine for 6k and have more whp than the stock v8. save 4k , better gas milage better insurance. :)

I think you got my confused with someone else, the RJT Camaro in the video is mine. I've since added the Corsa Cat back exhaust. Erick was one of the first people I know of that added a performance exhaust back in 2009.

As for "mod it for power" in case you didn't know, adding the performance exhaust increases the horsepower and torque.

You seem like you would be the kind of person who goes out and buys this car but gets a V8 with automatic transmission. V8 auto with AFM = running on 4 Cylinders.

I like how it sounds but Im sure it sounds diffrent in person, I dont know which after market to go with on my v6. Any recomandations would be nice. I love the car, sure its only a v6 but the one I really wanted was almost a grand a month, and thats too much for me at this time, and I have kids so Im not too over protective of my interior. Hope to upgrade in a few years. Why is there so many negative comments on here, I just dont get it, Thanks for this video.

That's actually the best sounding aftermarket exhaust I've heard on a v6 camaro, most of the aftermarket ones sound like fart cannons on honda's, that one's got a little growl to it though, nice man, but the new v6 mustang sounds better :P

the price of the v6 to v8 isnt always the issue what made me by a v6 is the difference in insurance prices its a huge difference not everyone can afford the insurance for that v8 so be proud that thier still supporting the camaro name

@skuttduck right I got a v6 in mine and thats all I would ever need. It can go way faster than the speed limit but yet I can get 29 mpg highway. With the ever increasing price of gas I say screw v8 gas hogs. Pretty soon they will want $10 a gallon.

Both are 2LT's. The XLT is the type of exhaust used on the CGM camaro.
