  • I saw a copy once of The blair witch project 2 and it was called BLAIR WITCH PROJECT BOOK OF SHAGGING LOL

  • Halloween 6 looks alright compared to what Mill Creek usually releases. Still, not very good, but alright.

  • I'm with you on the two Craven-remakes, I like em much more too. Very gritty, you can see both were made by European directors. No offense, but I don't think American directors would've made them this way, with so much balls and without any compromises. Especially Aja.

Somehow I knew The Descent would be an instant classic of the genre as soon as I saw it. Outstanding.

Fast Five is the guilty pleasure of the year! I never thought I'd like a movie of this franchise so much! 5*s

  • @LiveFastDiarrhea Yeah, I like the way Europeans see our country, people, society, and it's landscape from a different perspective. I had the same reaction when I saw The Descent. One of those rare movies... Fast 5 surprised the hell out of me. Now I'm curious to see where they take the franchise.

  • @TheKrazyJason Glad to see you enjoyed F&F 5 as much as I did. That foot-hase scene over the roofs of the Favelas? Awesome.

  • Awesome vid and great choices! If youd like to get your hands on a producers cut of H6 id recommend either trying ebay or any horror convention that might be near you, each conv. has a limited number of copies but they are available!. I just got my copy about 2 weeks ago at a convention, deff recommended!

  • Pretty awesome selection there, lots of ones that i'd love to watch if I owned like The Lost Boys. I agree about The Last House on the Left remake. To me the remake is superior and goes more in depth than the original did. Plus Wes Craven had to kill of main characters in the original because of time restraints, so i'm glad the remake is the way Wes Craven originally intended for it to be. I'll be watching the Paranormal Activity films this year. My new favorites.

  • dude, i have that same shirt! Found it at walmart for $7.50... fuck yes!

  • @PsychopathicReviews Yeah, I also picked up the Myers shirt. They have some pretty cool movie tees for a bargain.

  • @TheKrazyJason lol yeah iw as gonna get that one and the walking dead then i told myself "dont freak out and get shit on a spur of the moment." im more of a friday fan myself.

  • It's Grudge 2. "2" is standing in the eye.

Really good update!! You need to do more about horror movies.

    Thumbs Up!!

  • Great picks! I recommend checking out Attack the Block for an awesome monster movie. Just came out on bluray today and it is a lot of fun. The characters all have pretty heavy London accents but it's a lot of fun to watch.

  • No Exorcist this year?

  • @mburlock Maybe. I just watched it recently, so I might not get around to it this year. It'll DEF be at the top of the stack for next year!!

  • Fast Five is a terrific movie and is rumored to be a transitional film to turn the series from street racing into a series of heist films. So, we may be looking at another three or four 'Fast' movies.

  • I really enjoyed the first Blair Witch Project, though a lot of people didn't like it. I still need to check out the second one though.

  • @HanzoTh3Razor I'm going to try man, I'm going to try lol. Well, I won't get my panties in a wad and get all strict about it, I'll just watch what I really want to. To be honest, some of those I want to watch a second time rather than others in my stack. One of those being Book Of Shadows. I don't know why, but the more I watch it, the more I like it. I agree with you 200% on I Am Legend. Before that alternate ending, it was just a so-so movie for me. Glad to hear The Descent has good pq!

  • Ah Near Dark...not as much fun as Point Break, but so much better than The Hurt Locker and K19. If only for that Tangerine Dream score...

  • @ViddyZig For sure, a hell of alot better than The Hurt Locker.

  • @TheKrazyJason The best picture winners over the last decade have been quite poor in general I think, but Hurt Locker was just offensively mundane. All that fakey-cam stuff...if people desperately want some sort of conflict realism aesthetic....then Battle of the Algiers is right there, waiting for them.

  • @ViddyZig No way in hell is Near Dark a better film than The Hurt Locker.

  • I loved 30 Days of Night, saw it after you recommendedit. Loved Return of the Living dead. I thought it was a pretty damn scary zombie movie. I want to see the Thing. But I actually hated I am Legend, idk if it was me not being able to take Will Smith serious or if it was the "love story" ending, but I didn't like it. No offense.

  • @goodfellas1001 No offense taken, I can see how people wouldn't like I Am Legend. I almost fell on that side of the fence myself, but I give PA movies more leeway.

  • I recommend you listen to the commentary on Blair Witch 2, it's really intresting

  • @TheSUPERIORRIN Hot damn, hell yes!! Thanks for letting me know. Now I have a firm excuse to watch it again before Halloween.

  • Nice shirt! haha Jason is my favorite, so Halloween I will be watching all of the Friday The 13th movies, besides Part 8-10 and then I will watch all the Halloween's of course! haha But anyway, what you were saying about Friday The 13th Part 3, I agree with you on Jason. The way he walks is very stranger and he has his shoulders hunched up and he walks like Frankenstein but worse. Richard Brooker is for sure the worst Jason there was.

  • @cbabb15 That's quite a marathon!! I love me a good marathon on Halloween. I'm glad you get what I was saying about the Jason in part 3.

  • The thing bluray, and the digital cinema version are DNR' d the hddvd is the best version

  • @dvdmike007 Ok, thanks for letting me know. I had considered buying the Bluray, now I'll hold off.

  • There is a coupon out there on the internet for The Hills have eyes remake. It's 3 dollars off. So if you use it at Wal-mart, you can get it for 7 dollars and some change.

  • @JAlbasLover Cool, thanks for the intel!!

  • Been making my way through the Alien collection on blu-ray. Special features include interviews with Dan O'Bannon which are pretty interesting. I'll have to check out Return of the Living Dead.

  • @TheAceHunter Man, I guarantee you would dig ROTLD. You will laugh your ass off.

  • gud vid like your halloween collection

  • @dmandavid22 Thanks!!

  • nice, i see you put near dark in your stack, what do you think of return of the living dead part 2??

  • @waynedaly100 ROTLD part 2 is great, I need to pick it up.

  • The original Last House on the Left is better then the Remake, the Remake is still pretty good but you can't beat David Hess being a psycho and a rapiest. R.I.P David Hess, one of my favorite actors.

  • @ZemlakAttack Very true.

  • Tell me if The Others is worth upgrading to blu ray.

  • @browniemydog I will def do an update about it.

  • I prefer the remake of The hills have eyes,The last house on the left remake is pretty good but i ave to stick with the classic.

  • @dunnydundutta Yeah, the classic is solid for sure.

  • i know what you mean with Friday the13th part 3

  • @WeekendMovieMatinee Cool, I didn't think I was explaining myself very well.

  • I actually just picked up The Grudge 2 steelbook at Big Lots as well. Haven't watched it yet but I couldn't pass up the deal.

  • @Psychogorilla101 Yeah, it's one of those things you can't NOT buy.

  • The Grudge 2 you have is the remake ! :) anyway. Great update KJ!

  • @kasper26702670 Is it worth my time?

  • @TheKrazyJason hmm yay its a decent movie, give it a try :)

  • I recently picked up The Crazies and 30 Days of Night on blu ray also. I really enjoyed both those movies. I would say 30 Days of Night was better of the 2.

  • @davisp508 Yeah, I enjoy the hell out of both of those movies as well.

  • I made the goal of watching 31 movies in 31 days this year. So far I'm at 19 so I'm a little off pace. Thats also not counting the movies I recently bought. I'm probably closer to 40 movies now. I picked up the Scream 5 film set, Halloween 2 remake and Friday the 13th 1, 2 & 3, House of Wax/13 Ghosts double feature blu-ray

  • @davisp508 You can do it!! Btw, I saw that Scream set at Walmart. 20.00. That's a solid deal. I think I just might have to pick that up, even though I'm already up to my ears in horror movies to watch.

  • @TheKrazyJason yes I can!! yea, I picked up Scream for $19.99 on Amazon so it was a great deal! The only thing I hated was it didn't come with the slipcover :'(

  • Man, The descent blu ray looks fantastic, good pick

  • @BritishGodzilla This is the second comment i've gotten praising the pq, I'm very happy to know that.

  • Halloween 1 & 2 (original), Night of the Creeps, The Gate, Friday the 13th parts 4, 6, 7, 8, Hellraiser 1,2,3, The Changeling, The exorcist, My Bloody Valentine (original), Hammer horror film classics, Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things, The Thing, Return of the living dead 1,2,3.............

  • @unclefister77 Sounds like an AWESOME bunch of movies to watch in October.

  • Krazy, have to agree with you on 30 Days of Night, only recently added it to the collection. PQ is fucking stunning on it. An example to all other studios when it comes to giving their films the hi-def treatment. Definitely a must for new adopters to blu ray.

  • @caode Glad you agree!!

  • good picks kj if you want to see a good horror movies watch rec 1 and 2 also try out red state.

  • @matt11708 I second Red State, terrific movie.

  • @clerkingamy37 Hmmmmm, well then my curiosity is peaked.

  • @matt11708 I've never seen any of those movies. I'll check Netflix to see if any of them are on IW, if not I'll DEF keep a lookout at the pawn shops.

  • @TheKrazyJason red state is kj i dont know about rec 1 and 2.

  • Hey Krazy

The Hills Have Eyes has a coupon for $3 off would make it $7 you can look for it online at yearofamillionmoments.comcoupons

  • @JediKnight679 Oh snap!! Thanks for the intel!!!

  • blair witch 2 is really good movie that not many know how great it ist.

  • @GingerSnapsFast Very true. I need to do a solid solo review of it. I'm a big fan of the director Joe Berlinger. At the time of it's release, it was just a big disappointment because it wasn't like the first one. I'm glad he didn't take it in that direction, it would have just turned into a series like Paranormal Activity where every sequel is pretty much the same. Not knocking those movies, I'm just saying...

  • great vid 5/5.

  • @stewie1994dvdpage Thanks!!

  • Nice selection of horror movies. So far, I haven't watched any horror flicks this month and I really need to catch up on that. =d

  • @TylerPreston20 You need to get on that! ;-)

  • hey man, i'd be happy to give you a copy of Halloween 6: Producer's Cut if you want it.

  • @wolfmansgotnards11 Think you could hook me up too. Been looking everywhere for that version even if its just a palin ol blank dvd rip hahaha

  • @AJPunk15

Hey Punk, i'd be happy to. I got it from eBay about 5 years ago. It's really bad quality. Not sure if there is better copies out there. It is watchable in a way. I was disappointed though when I received it. I can make a few copies any way. No big deal.

  • @wolfmansgotnards11 Cool man, someone's already sending me one, but thanks for the generous offer!!!

  • well there is a torrent for the halloween 6 producers cut,,if you wanna go that route :)

  • @marillo18 Thankfully, someone is sending me a copy.

  • I watched this video with my head leaning to the right

  • @Tomanistanumerouno Lol, yeah I had a bit of a "dutch angle" going there.

  • I picked up the Friday the 13th box set and did a marathon this past week, and I have to agree with you about part three. Something about that old 3D process just makes the PQ extremely grainy and murky. And yeah, Jason was more of a bumbling goof in the early entries. CJ Graham and Kane Hodder gave the best performances with that character, IMO.

  • @Ninkyo893 Yeah, there was just something very off putting about that Jason to me. I really hate to say it, but it was just a really lame performance. It's amazing what people like Kane Hodder can do with no dialogue and a mask on. F13th marathon!! Very cool. I love marathons.

  • Go to ioffer.com they have Halloween 6 producer's cut for $10

  • @HorrorMovie408 Ok dude, I just went to the site and someone is offering a 5 disc set for 25.00 shipped. It looks SWEET. There's even art on the discs and bonus material. Very cool. If I enjoy the producers cut, that's the one I'll be going for. It's anamorphic widescreen, and they claim the pq is excellent.

  • @TheKrazyJason ok dude if you pick up that 5 disc of Halloween 6 producers cut you got to let me know what the 4 other disc are besides the movie. I've never seen that I only got the single disc edition.

  • Halloween 6 producers cut you can probably find on ISell.com or ioffer.com I love watching Hell Night w/Linda Blair on Halloween. That movie should get a better release.

  • @HorrorMovie408 I still need to see Hell Night. Thanks for the intel on Halloween 6. Someone has generously offered to send me a copy.

  • @TheKrazyJason in my opinion Hell Night is a must have. I guarantee you will enjoy it. Plus it has Linda Blair in her hay day. I guarantee it will be in your Halloween movie stack every year. Pick it up when u can. I mean o thought you would dig trick or treat when I sent it to you I think you'll enjoy hell night as well.

  • Wes Cravens Last House on the Left was a remake of The Virgin Spring.

Great Price on that Grudge Steelbook.

  • @KnittyKnut Yep, I love that movie. As good as the DVD looks, I'm Hoping Criterion releases the Bluray version soon...

  • I like your new term for bad PQ "ass" haha. The Hills Have Eyes on blu-ray for $10, if I didnt own the dvd I might pay that... but common Wal-mart with slave labor cant you price that shit at $5. Almost bought Near Dark a few times, but figured it would sit on my shelf for 2 years before I watched it. The part where u talk about watching a non horror film in between your marathon of horror films… I got the feeling you made that up as you were talking. Either way thanks for the shout outt.

  • @theFLICKpick Yeah 10.00 at Wally is redic. They're selling The Others for 10 as well. Foolish. Made it up as I was talking, lol. You'll never know for sure.

  • The hills have eyes on blu ray has an amazing pq! If u find it cheap u must pick it up..

  • @BanjoOutlaws Ah man, yeah I want it bad. It has a kind of Post-Apocalyptic/Western vibe to it too.

  • I like Blair Witch Book of Shadows too! I like it better than the original.

  • @DireGrave11 Yeah, I really do want to talk about it in more depth at some point.

  • It's the Grudge 2. I have that one as well. See the number two in his eye? :D nice video. you rock

  • @sandlmull Yeah, I noticed that after uploading. DUH. Thanks for the kind words. :-)

  • @sandlmull Btw, is the movie any good?

  • @TheKrazyJason Personally I wasn't impressed with it. I liked the first one much better, but I thought the ending of the 2nd one was great.I got mine at Big Lots for $3 as well so I definitely think it was worth $3.

  • love your vids as always

  • @grangerboy1 Thank you much!!
