Ive got this amp and use it with a 60's covers band, the clean is awsome, i have to have the clean volume almost full up at gigs, but this is when the clean channel comes alive, a few people think its a valve amp, its not, but sounds great. I dont use the distortion channel. I dont mic the amp either, its loud enough for small bars n clubs.
this amps sucks at low volumes for distortion, but once you crank it up , its a good crunchy sound but i recommend a pedal cuz its not a good distortion
it is awesome, but at a good middle level volume it starts screeching when you dont play. its good, i just dont like the massive amounts of feedbak that it has
Yeah, great amp. But for metal, get a pedal. This little sucker's LOUD for a 16 watt amp. I dare you to crank it past the first mark with all the eq's up.
