This should have been the series finale. If it was book it would have ended here. Lucas got his dream (Peyton), Peyton finally realized she deserved to be happy, Brooke realized she deserved real love, Nathan got his dream of his family and playing in the NBA and Dan Scott ended up alone and dying. The voice over, while a bit corny, gets to me because each of them are reaffirming that they got what they desired and deserved (even Dan).

Apparently the writer and the producer of OTH are saying that they defiantly want to write both Peyton and Lucas back in. Also, Chad said he would be happy to cone back if it made the fans happy. Not sure about Hilarie though. But I wouldn't even mind if just one of them came back. It's not the sane without them. It's still good but incomplete somehow.

I actually don't like this voiceover at all. It's very bland and corny :/ Like... sometimes, happiness doesn't come from money or fame it comes from friends and family blah blah. Jeez. I love OTH voiceovers, and I was kind of sad the last scene with Lucas and Peyton had such a crappy one.

okay this really should've been the series finale. it was absolutely PERFECT. i was watching this today (it was on a few weeks ago and i dvr'd it and now i watch it all the time lol) and all i could think about was how this was the most perfect ending they could ever have! Leyton was happy, Naley was happy and nathan is in the nba, chase/mia are happy, brooke/julian are happy, mouth/millie are happy, brooke/bitchtoria are happy, and there were no pointless characters like quinn, clay, & alex.

I would have been happy with One Tree Hill ending the show this way. it brings closure to the characters and left viewers happy. especially when you see all the characters dreams coming true finally after 6 seasons because its the basis of this entire show. i liked season 7 even with leyton missing, but this would have been a perfect ending. but I'll always support this amazing show, and im sooo happy they're coming back strong for another season!

i think this should have been the series finale, and that there should have been no season 7. it tied up all the storylines perfectly, and lucas and peyton got their happy ending. season 7 would have worked with lucas and peyton still on the show, but it's more fitting to end it this way. having lucas and peyton leave is like ryan atwood leaving the oc. it just doesn't work.

I'm not sure if she gave birth to a child or if she adopted one, but now she's a mother, and you can't be a mother if you're starring a TV show. After six seasons you can leave the show if you want to, and she did. But like I said, I don't know why Chad left.

And the producers also acknowledged that they didn't have any use for Peyton without Lucas so she was killed off with Lucas because their a couple. Besides you can be in a hitseries and have a child. What about Jackson (Jamie) he is still in school,he finds the time for OTH.

Im sure Hilarie was killed off because Lucas left. Shame though miss them

Theres a clip of chad micheal murray on youtube where he doesn't know he is being filmed and he's talking about they don't want him back. After he saw that clip on the news he wouldn't talk about it anymore. It was all crazy. But they wouldn't let him back. This to me should of ended the show. Season 7 is just a failure.

Though I will continue watching this show as long as it runs, part of me wishes that they had ended it right after season 6 instead of continuing. I just feel that everyone got their happy ending and what they wanted in life, which was what the show was all about. I think if they had ended after this season it would have been more satisfying for viewers.

Brooke went after Julian, skillz is with that teacher lady, and Dan...well nothing was more dramatic than his scenes with peyton and sawyer...holding her and knowing that she would never know him as anyone other than a murderer and that all his children, grandchildren, etc wanted nothing to do with him and would rather he were dead, which was made clear that would be fairly soon

But that's just my opinion, I too thought that i'd love OTH forever as long as it never ended, but not at the expense of keeping it a decent show, which I don't think season seven has done. I'm dissappointed in many of this season's storylines, they are overreaching for ideas to keep the story interesting

Not the usual cliffie of OTH for a finale- but without a doubt the BEST season finale of OTH I've ever seen. I'll miss Leyton- but kudos to the writers for giving them the happy ending they deserved- and what a cute baby! Their kiss and Sawyer's smile at the end cinched it for me. :) And I love all the uplifting words at the end- what every person needs to hear, I think - love Julian & Brooke too and Naley...Thank you so much for posting! I love One Tree HIll. This was a perfect ending for Lucas & Peyton 's last season. Alot of fans will miss them. Season 7 isnt the same anymore. It's still good but you can feel something is missing from there cast. Something that cant be replaced. I'm still a One Tree HIll Fan and always will be. It was the best in the first 2-3 seasons but it isnt terrible....I mean they are gonna fail in season 7 without lucas and peyton! but still if there is gonna be a failure season its gonna be this one.
