It's not a stingray, or an eel, or even a horseshoe crab. This thing is not even as big as most of the commentors are implying. a simple look at the size of the woodgrains compared to it will reveal it is a few inches at the most in size.

It is a Triops, google Russian Triops for extremely similar photos of the things.
