That's so true. I don't remember anything interesting happening after the marriage with Stella. The jokes are getting old. Gladly, it finally seems as if the series is heading towards a goal. Barney finally left that PUA stuff behind him (after countless relapses). It really should end after the eighth season. If they are to make ten seasons, the producers just out themselves as greedy pigs.

I cannot for the life of me understand why people are always comparing HIMYM and Friends. Yeah, they're a little similar in that they both involve groups of youngish friends in NYC who spend a lot of time together at a local hangout, but the writing? The humor? The characters? The format? The structure? The style? COMPLETELY different. IMO, it's more like Seinfeld, with all those callbacks and continuity and theories and quirks.
