too awesome! I wish my sengal was open to that! She was abused by young children for the first few years of her life and she is very skiddish when it comes to unknown objects, everything from pens to keys, even my laptob. Shes gotten much better with age, I have had her for about 7 years now and shes between 10-15 or so...nice job, very awesome!!
hi micheal i really love you videos .i hope some day to show me how to made a parrot flip, show his wings, flight recalls , climb a rope , and the other awsome trick its my dream to teach my bird that tricks i hope you awnser me .
Wow, that's hilarious, that bird is incredibly smart! Also, great job training Kili. I have a question, 1. where did you learn to train the bird Kili? 2. Can a Pineapple Conure do that too? -Great Video, thanks.
@speedproductions797 I don't see why a Pineapple Conure couldn't learn these things as well. I had a budgerigar that could do most of the same tricks. I read all the books and watched all the videos that I could to learn about training. I'm starting a new training blog that I link from my channel page. I will write a training manual from start to end about the experiences of training my new Cape Parrot. So keep track of that.
What a wonderful way to say thank you to Rita at Rainbow. She makes the most loving birdie baby videos in the whole world. And also really nice toys and stuff for the birdies. She loves to make her birds and Kili and my birds happy.
Thanks for sharing, and thanks again to Rita for sharing with you. It made my day as you, Kili, Rita and her birds are soo precious to me!!!!!!!
hello i would really like to know how you trained kili to retrieve, ring on peg, basketball and flight recall? can you pretty pretty please tell me how you trained her to do all those tricks i would really like to know! everytime i ask someone they usually dont respond so can you please tell me how? i would appreciate it alot!
Jeeze, that was years of training and development. That's like asking how to learn algebra from scratch for someone that doesn't even know how to count yet. I wrote a lot about these things on my forum so you should definitely check out the articles on there. You can also look at more of my videos. I have explained or shown a lot of these things across the articles and videos. You should really see what you can learn from what's available first. Then if you have questions, I'll try to help you.
@kiliparrot Thanks for replying! and yes i have looked at your forum but i need help training ring on peg and the retreive i didnt quiet get those. If you would help me with those or post a video showing how to i would very much appreciate it! Thanks again!
You cannot train ring on peg until you have taught advanced retrieve. You cannot teach advanced retrieve until you've taught basic retrieve. You cannot teach retrieve until you have taught basics of training. You cannot teach basics of training until you've achieved some taming, etc. You must start with the basics. Flighted ring on peg by color is the culmination of training over 30 behaviors to this parrot. If you had taught the requisite tricks, you should be able to figure it out on your own.
@kiliparrot Thanks! and i think im having hard with the retrieve is a little hard for me to train because i have a parakeet, but when my blue and gold macaw comes home it may be a little easier. Thanks for your help and kili's too! I love Kili she is such a good birdie! I would LOVE to see more videos of her i am going to post a video of my parakeet today.
i love Kili

OMG!!! Kili is just like a little human! Such a CUTIE!!!
He is going to LOVE those sprouts Rita sent him. Those are the only sprouts I'll buy for my babies. She's a very sweet lady!
Enjoy your goodies, Kili ;-)
