Yes, but when people who actually want to EXPERIENCE the weapons they hyped us about for a week, and those people (READ: Mostly everyone ingame) don't get anything over 15+ hours of playing, I would call that a BAD system. At least with achievement whoring we had the CHOICE of doing it or not, and now we don't get shit either way. Btw, have you checked out the amount of servers that are dedicated to new 'achievement_idle' maps that don't kick afk players? Achievement whoring cannot be solved. GG

Every day thousands of people join TF2 servers and not all of them will be fortunate to actually know they can trade, with time yes. Until then, they will need the random find system, and I'm sure valve will restrict the trading system to something more than just trading everything with everyone, that's why they haven't implemented it yet.

Anyway I have 2 huntsman and they were the first weapons I got.

And I don't fucking care.

the best part about this new system is the fact that new players from the free weekend are getting more, better items and weapons than those who have been playing for months such as myself. and they have stopped playing now that the free weekend is over only to never play again (or for a while), meaning those earned items were basically a waste. a friend of mine did the free thing and got everything cept for the ambassador. had like 6 jarates! I really wish I could find out how crappy the update is. But since the update, I can't play TF2. All I get is a "Steam servers are too busy, please try in a couple of minutes" bullshit message.

The steam servers for my area have either been overcharged or down for a couple of days now and it is impossible for me to download any updates (which is required to launch TF2). Deleting the .blob file causes Steam to be unable to start up at all because it cannot connect to the server to replace it. I had to restore it from the recycle bin to be able to launch steam again.

Unless Valve gets a decent server for my area, I'll be unable to play the games I paid for everytime there is a free week
