poly carbonate cracks with and pipe thread. Strongly suggest flat pvc. We have tried many different types and thicknesses of lexan and all ended in caustic fluid everywhere. This is not critisicm but friendly advice.

Acrylic and Lexan is completely not the same thing.
Here's an advice from someone who sold hundreds of this units. Dont use Lexan, it'll react with your electrolyte.
I am not using lexan, I am using Polymethyl methacrylate or simply call it cast acrylic, or plexiglass.
