I do not understand why today we lost a lot of time on meaningless issues. In my opinion, Autralia still need workers from immigrants. Then why must promulgate regulations for the new issued citizenship test to be recognized as Australian citizens? This only waste of time and money and it seems the opportunity for immigrants to become Australian citizens was so difficult because the questions even cause problems for people locally.
It is not called "The Citizenship Test" it is called the "Howard Test" and like Howard it should be scrapped!
The only test newcomers should sit for is to watch "The Sundowners" and if they feel passionate about the values of this movie then give them a Citizenship.
We don't need American values or Political Correctness! This shows how much Howard sucked up to Bush.
