It's not really that sad or disgusting or brutal really. it's just the way things are. That rabbit is very dead so there is no suffering involved. The cat isn't cruel she is just getting a meal. That's how nature is, circle of life and all that. Far worse would be if no one ate that rabbit, if it just went to waste. But nature is great at recycling itself :)
