  • Goosebumps :)

  • This is definitely Rachel, you can tell by the way she says Dr Dillamond and thats exactly how Rachel does that riff.

  • That is Rachel, Eden is American and you can clearly hear when she says 'Fiyero' that it is in an English accent, come on give the uploader some credit im sure they would know who they saw perform, just saying :)

  • eden was the one who CREATED the riff, saycon is using it, which is totally fine

  • @OddHipster14 It's not Saycon...it's Rachel Tucker! :)

  • To be fair, she does sound an awful lot like Eden, as she does the ending riff ALMOST the same, but she changes to a lower note at the very end, which Eden does not do in any recording i've listened to; she always ends in the high belt. So yes, this is NOT Eden.

  • SHESSS AMAZING <3 RACHEL is amazing <3 you can tell its rachel by the way she says dr dillamond <3 omg, i love her so much lmao xx

  • Oh wow... this is incredible! Can't wait to see her in Feb!

  • WOAH! :O

  • This is VERY similar to Eden but Eden produces a much deeper, fuller sound. Not to say that this isn't good, I love it, but Eden just has a fuller sound.

  • It is pretty similar to Eden's riff, but Rachel's note a lot less thin towards the top of the range in this riff. Rachel has better technique in general but both of them are incredible and my two favourites.

  • this never fails to take my breath away. this is the greatest i've ever heard this line been sung.

  • Love how people think this is Eden. Its Tucker through and through. This woman is a genius in the role, such admiration for her! If you havent seen her Elphaba and get the oppertunity, shes so worth it! And so lovely at SD. Sucker forThe Tucker <3

  • I love the fact that people think this is Eden, makes me laugh so much! It's a huge compliment to Rachel though, in my opinion, she's the best Elphaba at doing this riff, love Rachel as Elphie so much!

  • @Greggzz1 nooo actually sorry but eden kinda did kick rachel's butt i mean eden held it longer and was making it more powerful and eden came before rachel and rachel just tried to copy her

  • @AvryalisYhurStalker It's not like Eden copyrighted the riff! Besides, Colleen Sexton did it before Eden. And both Colleen and Rachel execute it with much better technique than Eden could ever dream of.

  • @terryleehicksthe3rd I always thought that Eden sounded a bit strained. Rachel is a much better Elphaba and she really understands that character from all angles and knows how to put the emotions across to the audience. When I saw Eden live, I just thought of her as Eden, but when I saw Rachel I really thought that it was Elphaba :)

  • @AvryalisYhurStalker it may sounded good but eden did it way wrong to nasal thats why she couldnt do it every night

  • She has a british accent... it is Rachel! Some people!

  • Exactly I don't need to hear the riff to know this is Rachel Tucker I can tell by the way she sings before it and Eden doesn't sound like this only the riff is the same :P

  • It's obviously not Eden, Rachel hits this without cringe-inducing nasality or amateurish flatness.

  • Guys...it's rachel. Eden just does the same riff. Come on.

  • @BROADWAYaddict1313 Correction, Rachel does the same riff.

  • Gotta love Tucker!! 100% thats NOT Eden ;) She puts so much into this song its stunning!

  • It doesn't even sound like Eden. I love Eden Espinosa but some people need to realise she's not the only one who can riff.

  • Thats not Eden, in the slightest, Tucker kills that Fiyero riff better than anyone!!

  • That's Eden.

  • @chinchinrevolution Please stop being stupid. I recorded the audio, its Rachel. Grow up.

  • @thewizardandiuk You're right. It is. Sorry, it just sounds SO much like Eden. No worries.

  • @thewizardandiuk yeah thats Rachel alright! you got it Grow up others!

  • @chinchinrevolution you've obviously never properly listened to Eden or Rachel then. It is most definitely Rachel. Idiot!

  • @chinchinrevolution I'm a huge Eden fan, and that's definitely NOT Eden!

  • @chinchinrevolution Eden does this riff also, but she could never do with with the power that Rachel does it with. Eden's good, but not that good.

  • @chinchinrevolution She' s obviously Racher Tucker!

  • thats rachel she did a similar amaaaazzziiiiinnn riff when i saw it jus last week <3

  • Dudes she has an english accent when she says 'doctor dillamond' - RACHEL

  • Thanks for sharing, that's absolutely amazing! Of course is Rachel, her " Fiyero" is very particular and different from all the others. She can't be confused with anyone else.

  • This is definitely Tucker.

  • ROFL for those of you who think it is Eden - listen to the drums. London is the only production that has the orchestra sounding that amazing.

  • I've seen Rachel and she did the riff exactly like this, so I totally believe it's Rachel!

  • I love how everyone is disputing that this is Rachael, they're probably all American and cant oversee the fact that Britain has this talent... Silly, this is Rachael.

  • this is the exact riff that rachel did :) it does sound different at the start, that might just be the quality but when she goes high her voice sounds exactly like rachel - cos it is!!

  • u sure the full show isnt up 4 trade?

  • I adore the way Rach sings this song!!! so powerful!

  • Lol guys this is 100 percent rachel tucker...she even has a british accent

  • Incase anyone missed it :) S/he is not sure what s/he has to say, its Rachel. S/he sat in the theatre, s/he paid for the ticket, s/he watched the show, s/he recorded the audio, s/he uploaded it. Its Rachel Tucker!

  • @caritas83 Thanks ;)

  • @caritas83 lol- i know Rachel Tucker's voice, this is definitely Rachel. This just goes to show what an amazing riff it is, and how talented both Eden and Rachel are that they pull it off so dazzlingly

  • the cast of wicked are taking part in WEST END EUROVISION 2011 on 21st april tickets are selling really fast and can be booked on 0844 871 7630

  • why would this person lie and say its Rachel when its Eden, thats the dumbest accusation ever.

  • This is definitely Rachel. Any Eden fan would know that Eden's voice has WAY more vibrato on the higher notes and her voice does not sound nearly as innocent as Rachel's does for the beginning.

  • .... I think this is Eden?

  • @singingfreak94f Not sure what I have to say, its Rachel. I sat in the theatre, I paid for the ticket, I watched the show, I recorded the audio, I uploaded it. Its Rachel Tucker!

  • @thewizardandiuk I believe you. Just saw her live, although she didn't do the riff "Eden" then.

But she is awesome. Sadly, she didn't have as much energy in "The Wizard and I" as I'd hoped for.

  • @thewizardandiuk LOL !!!!

  • @singingfreak94f If you've listened to Eden a good deal, I don't see how you could ever mistake this for her...

  • anyone know where i can download no good deed with this riff? the only version i can find is with idina menzel

  • Umm i watched it like 2 weeks ago with Rachel singing and sang it exactly the same! i was right there! lol it is her! lmao i actually nearly shit the bed it was soo good! i didn't expect it! Its freaking amazing!

  • wow! When I saw the video, I thought 'well, what could be different about it?' and then I watched it, and then I went 'WAUW!'

  • Thats definitely Rachel haha! I love this riff it's amazing! x

  • what a beautiful fiyeeeeeeeeeeeeroooo!

  • WOW.

  • rachels great at riffs

  • 1 day i hope to play elphaba on broadway and if im elphaba i'll do this riff

  • 1 day i hope to play glinda or elphaba on broadway and if im elphaba i'll do this riff and if im not i'll beg my co-star to do it :)

  • It's rachel, i've seen her 5 times so far shes phenomenal x

  • Its definatly rachel, i was there! i remember it very clearly becasue i said to an american couple next to me she sounded like eden with the riff, which was amazing, but its clearly NOT Eden or any of the American Elphabas becasue rachel is irish and the recording isnt American its british !

  • chills :O

  • are you kidding? of course this is rachel, she's incredible!<3

  • Why are people saying this doesnt sound like her? Of course it does. Theres even a hint of an engish accent on Dr. Dillamond. People be crazy :P

  • That doesnt sound like Rachel! Rachel could sing that riff though

  • @sophiels2 Not sure what I have to say, its Rachel. I sat in the theatre, I paid for the ticket, I watched the show, I recorded the audio, I uploaded it. Its Rachel Tucker!

  • @sophiels2 Yup, this really is Rachel. I saw Wicked yesterday and her singing was like this. She is incredible!! I would definitely go as far as saying she is better than Idina- who always used to be my favourite Elphie before.

  • Im pretty much 100% sure thats Eden Espinosa singing

  • @cocowizard1 Not sure what I have to say, its Rachel. I sat in the theatre, I paid for the ticket, I watched the show, I recorded the audio, I uploaded it. Its Rachel Tucker!

  • @thewizardandiuk i agree its definatly Rachel .Eden is always a little more flat

  • @cocowizard1 I went last weekend to the London production...heard Rachel doing a riff mightily similar to this, and I remember thinking "OH YAY IT'S THE EDEN RIFF!" :D

  • @cocowizard1 that is defo rachel

  • @cocowizard1 its rachel for gods sake.

  • @cocowizard1 Eden is American thus she'd say 'Dr DilemAnd' Rachel's a Brit thus says as is heard in this video 'Dr Dilamnd' (Spelt phonetically) :)

  • @cocowizard1 haha it is most definitely rachel. listen to 'dr. dillamond" and the riff itself. very british and pure rachel. she sounds fantastic! thanks for recording!

  • @cocowizard1 It is definitely Rachel you can tell by the way she sings, shes awesome!

  • @cocowizard1 no its rachel

  • @cocowizard1 definately IS rachel, i know my favourite singer when i hear her!

  • @cocowizard1 its not eden .you can really tell .its rachel .because her riffs doesnt sound flat

  • This doesn't sound at all like Rachel?? It's a completely different tone of voice...

  • @minihobo89 Not sure what I have to say, its Rachel. I sat in the theatre, I paid for the ticket, I watched the show, I recorded the audio, I uploaded it. Its Rachel Tucker!

  • Rachel live is one of the most amazing and goosebump giving things ever. She understands Elphaba's part so well. And her voice brings Elphie to life.

  • I don't like her...............from the recording I've watched I think Louise is definitely the star

  • @NatalieGoesByBubble Rachel is one of the best Elphabas, and she really understands the part. You have to see her live, you cant base the fact you like or dislike someone on a recording.

  • @ilikeurbumable i totally agree about seeing rachel live- it is AMAZING! she is just in the moment at all times BEING elphaba completly. and louise is amazing too. so, really, thy have a really strong cast right now! :D

  • please put the full audio up

  • oh come on you HAVE to put the full audio up!!!!

  • @mattcookie Maybe soon

  • @thewizardandiuk I think someone has already beaten you too it unless there is more than one recording of her doing this riff??

  • I love it, I love Rachel and I love Wicked- especially this riff! It's such a phenomenal show!

  • That's just the exact riff Dee Roscioli did every night on Broadway, only cut much shorter.

  • wowwww woowww wowwww

I cannot wait to see her again! the best thing about rachel is that she tries every know and again riffs here and there, so when you go to see her perform you don't know what you're going to get! and that's amazing!!!

what is the actual date? :)

  • Holy crap! That's an Eden inspired riff right there haha.

  • i was waiting for this riff!

  • why are all london audios so soft in volume? its a shame because the performances are awesome!

  • @TheWesternSkies The sound comes from front high speakers apposed to the lower ones on Broadway so the sound comes from above and falls onto the recording opposed to the Broadway ones where they are forced. :)

  • Amazing! <3

  • amazing <3

wish if she could hold it slightly longer though !

  • I love that riff <3
