Thanks for making a video with such a beautiful message. I was wondering, isn't dowry a gift from the bride's father to her. Why would a "husband" burn or torture her to get it. In some culture, the groom's side would bring dowry over to offer to the bride & family as a thank you gift for giving the daughter's hand in marriage instead of the bride's father giving her a dowry at the time of marriage.
