Clark is protecting Lois right now. Look at the long line of people who died or suffered as a result of knowing his secret? Every single person he cares about has suffered just because they knew him. It is noble for him to protect Lois from that horror because he feels "she's special". He doesn't want his secret to hurt her. You may call that being a pussy, but I know people who have gone through their whole lives hoping to meet someone who cared for them that much.

Really, the Clana thing being an issue w/ Clois is b/c Clana was written for SEVEN freakin years as a this "epic" couple! Which is BS b/c they were boring as spit! But, to satisfy their fanbase they gave them that absurd closure in REQUIEM. Point is: Clois trumps Clana by light years! That's good enough for me!

The scariest part about this whole thing is that while you don't want Lois and Lex together, you admit Lex is more ideal than Clark because he's "confident"? WTF are you talking about? You sound like crazy ass Lana right now. Lex killed people, hit his wife, was a manipulative evil SOB with daddy issues. Confidence should be tempered with humility, Lex had none of that. I think you should seriously look re-evaluate what a truly "GOOD MAN" is.

I was thinking the same thing about why everyone's kissing Lois' butt, yet she still is in the basement! I'm still ticked about the Lana stuff, too, but, really, that's on the writers! Nothing we can do about it now. Example:That great advice Chloe gave Clark about not living in the past? She should have given him that advice about Lana in POWER and REQUIEM! But really TW and ED were terrific as NormalClark and Chlois!

Last night I ALMOST forgot about the lana crap. ALMOST. It would have been a great episode had I not remembered it. I think Clark needs to man up, grow some balls and learn how to treat a lady. I mean the only time he shows interest is in situations where they are thrown together, or in close proximity of some type... otherwise he puts his tail in between his legs and runs off... he's so insecure but can you blame him? Lana destroyed his manhood... I guess he just likes pain. I dunno

I think an appropriate amount of time has occured where Lois is no longer in rebound territory. It's been three episodes since the Clana arc but in Smallville timeline it is like months since he's seen Lana. Ew on Lois and Lex though. That would make Lois even more slutty than Lana if she went with Lex. I'd prefer if Lois kept her dignity and not even flirt with Clark's arch enemy. I think the mild-mannered Clark was pretty funny and really it is all part of the mythos so I think he was cool.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Chloe's new watch tower role, the missing Jimmy clip, and Chloe's constant run-ins with the death/choice. I think Clark is slowly being de-pussified with Lois brushing him off, at the same time teasing him. The episode was hilarious. I thought Chloe was a bit shallow concerning her cousin, dissing her, but at the same time wanting to be her, pretty ass backwards. All Lois has is that sweaty walking douche that greets her with coffee, which he probably laced

You seem to know what her stance is on the issues ,apparently, so why do bother watching if you know she's going to speak her dislikes of the character. She doesn't have to be nice at all, it's her opinion, even though I disagree with some issues.

No I didn't, I expressed what I agreed with actually, and what I see developing on the show. You are forcing a personal view of a character's likability. I tend to agree with most of what Nancy says, it's brutally honest. However, If you feel she's a Debbie Downer there's other venues, not many who have the guts to put their face to it. The show is Smallville, there's no main character. You would think Clark, however, he is stagnant. And shares that spotlight. He is an undeveloped character.

I do see where you are coming from, I just think you're going about it hostilely. I watch also to see if she changes her opinion on SV, but it's up to the writers to make it believable to everyone. So when Nancy is happy, then they did their job. Look back at committed. There's always going to be something to nitpick with, but the overall episode is what counts.
