this music works your imagination and deepest desires, as how you want to put it. But is for sure touch your hearth. Just close your eyes and relax and let the music takes you anywhere. Listen to the voices and it will take you up and down. that is why I love posthumus.
@Moneymakingpants1 your right, the guitar players and drummer are true artists, playing real music :)
hahaha! XD i kid, i kid, i listen to this as much as i do my thousand foot krutch, three days grace and exies :)
i get what your saying though about that its difrent, but this group contains musicians just like every other group. and as much as i HATE to say it, pop artists like justin beiber(fag), kanye west and others, really are musicians... (gag-cough)
@cobaltw Oh no I'm not saying they're not musicians. I just love hearing something other than JUST drums, base and a guitar. It just becomes repetative after a while, Everything sounds the same. This music has real feeling to it. I mean don't get me wrong I listen to popular music when I wanna dance or just have fun. But to me this is real art.
@Moneymakingpants1 listen to Unstoppable or Kuvera, those were made with heavy electric guitars, metal drums and with the characteristic beautiful string arrangements of E.S. Posthumus ;)
@noclassatall Then don't read them. Your last sentence was "No one cares." Obviously, people do care, seeing that such comments are generally the highest rated. Way to bring religion into this. I like how my reply had nothing to do with it. Lol.
Listening to this really takes away the mind to a better place in a temporary tranquility. Its so moving. For those that dont take this in for what it is, please just leave and not say a word. This is true beauty and a masterful art of creation in the aspect of sound to human understanding

This one doesnt quite seem to fit the scene for an inspirational speech before a huge war, on the story im writing.. anybody got one of their songs of win that do?
@PhatProductinz well depending on the feeling of the speech they have Lepcis magna which has a 'Have hope my brothers for the night is darkest before the dawn' feel. unstoppable has a "We were beaten, broken and scattered, now, is the time, for revenge!" feel. Arise could be used in a multitude of ways. Ulaid is like a clamer version of Lepcis Magna. Nara could be good as well for a more 'hero of teh people' character. hope this helps^^
Thanks for uploading this, but just so you know, the song is called "Estremoz" it's named after a city in Portugal. All of the songs on this album are named after historical cities. :)
the hero comes home one day, only to find his beloved wife dead, and as he holds her lifeless body in his arms, his power reacts to his powerful emotions of grief and allconsuming rage. meanwhile, the villain laughs, not realizing the growing light in the distance, or hearing the cry for vengeance. suddenly the wall of his lair is shattered, and the hero stands before him. this time, jail is too good for him. only one man will leave this battle alive.....
@toasega You described a book called: Waylander - the Drenai Saga (this could be the right name in English(Sorry for BAD English)(If you read these books you will have a flashback where you say: DE JA VU))
If everyone had a diamond, would they still be worth much? Pushing something into the mainstream just lessens the value of it to those that listened to it before hand... Unless you just want to be the guy that can say he liked it before everyone else.
I hardly think pushing music into the mainstream causes it to lose its value. Music, unlike diamonds, is not a status symbol but instead something to be enjoyed and appreciated in its own right. I enjoy Beethoven's ninth just as much knowing that nearly half the world has heard it.
Saying "I liked them before they were cool" is the equivalent to saying "first" on a YouTube video. It's simply nothing to be proud of, and nothing has been contributed to society by being first to hear something.
@VivekVish I think a lot of people lose a lot of their style when they make it big. Sometimes they just start doing it for the money. Underground is always fresh.

I could say that anyone who likes IT is an aspie, but I don't because I can respect opinions that differ from my own. But considering the fact that any time I express any sort of dislike for IT I am attacked by rabid fanboys, that claim could be just about correct.
@KzrrainzYes Oh and before you reply with your head up your ass again, I’ll explain myself.
You compared a whack ass rapper with lines like "One egg short of the omelette. Simon says, shoot a nigga in his thigh and leg, Then tell him catch up like mayonnaise" to IT. that my friend is begging for an insult.don’t get it misconstrued, everyone has the right to their own opinion, its just that you started by saying IT is overrated, which could be possible.
@KzrrainzYes But then you basically lost all your credibility by saying he’s on Lil Wayne’s level. You’re naive because you think I’m some rabid fanboy who doesn’t respect your opinion, and I really don’t think I need to explain why you’re a pretentious douche. Good day sir.

This entire project started as a sort of grassroots. The people who first heard them ARE important and HAVE contributed to society by bringing this amazing talent to the mainstream audience.
@VivekVish what you´re sayin is partly right as partly restricted in terms of your perception. listening to music cause everybody listens to it is as stupid as desperately tryin to listen to something that nobody does: in both cases u are not enjoying music but trying to work on ur personal image in society. there are two sides of a coin ;)
@VivekVish ; while you bring up some valid points, you're neglecting the fact that bands generally fall into mainstream when they lose their initial creativity. Many times, when a person says they liked a band "before they were cool", they're implying that somewhere along the line, the band evolved - whether for better or worse - into something totally different.
@VivekVish It means to those who say it that they found and liked something before it became popular and therefore they do not simply like it because it became popular. Pretty simple, really.
@VivekVish The only exception is being able to share a genuine opinion with a composer or musician in general regarding a 'preview' version of the music. Sometimes a listener can influence that music at that time and only if their view is relevant to the aims of the music.
E.S. Posthumus is an US-American music group from Los Angeles which was founded in 2000 by the brothers Helmut and Franz Vonlichten. The E.S. in the name of the group stands for " Experimental sounds "
posthumous means "after death" in English. In Latin, post means "coming after" and humus means "earth"--as in English, the combination of the words means "after death". However, I don't think anyone would say the word means "living dead".
on hulu.(com) they have a skit from NSL it's called business meeting, they have a gigantic turkey sub say I say we put mustard on it, a random thing to say to all the people arguing down below.
nappa a guy that dosent last long in DBZ ask vegeta one of the people in DBZ what Goku's power level is when he reads it on his scouter and it reads over 9000 so vegeta says its over 9000! and nappa turns to look at him saying What 9000?!
i agree so im just guna Deleat all my comments under your's the argument was unbased and cheap shots were thrown...And it took away from the experence in this song i apoligize for my actions and that idiot ojamalio.

posthumus stands for the living dead in latin
catrina339 2 years ago 3
posthumous means "after death" in English. In Latin, post means "coming after" and humus means "earth"--as in English, the combination of the words means "after death". However, I don't think anyone would say the word means "living dead".
