Joshua Radin - Between the Bars (Elliott Smith Cover)

I really like his interpretation of the song on his guitar, but I thought the vocals were a bit over done. Elliott Smith's songs are incredible in their simplicity, and this was just not the right style. He sounds like a very talented singer and guitar player though. I just didn't think this was the best song for him.

@acleansheet1 I respectfully disagree. I have seen enough evidence for years now to trust that Joshua Radin is a humble and exceptionally talented artist. I can definitely appreciate this interpretation. I don't think he would have tried to touch Elliot Smith if he didn't know that he would do it justice. Give it another listen.

i like this more than most covers of this since he actually tries something with it, changing the time signature etc., i dunno i just don't think anyone can match elliott's version if they play it the exact same way he did. (not hating on covers, i love listening to them. my favorite is still the original version is all)
