It did. In the late 90's and early 2000's music was still nice and poppy. I started noticing the downhill slope of music starting somewhere around late 2002 early 2003. Now it's nothing but this auto tuned hip hop/ R & B bullshit we get nowadays. The state of the music industry is sad. There's barely any talent left.
