Sweet! I don't know why, but I've always wanted to see this again. Something about it fascinated me to no end.
'Course, it's even better now that I know about the Rube Goldberg diagrams it's based on, that always used letters to define the steps.
Don't suppose anyone knows where I can find the one where they create the letters all in different ways, like one is drawn in the sand and the X is repeated all over a computer screen, do you?
Interesting.. I never noticed this before, but the boy misses the baseball the second time. However, I guess the person who added the sound effect failed to notice this! (or else the baseball crashed into something behind him!)
Well, there was a radio/movie theater ticket booth, complete with window (K), a fish bowl there (L), a tank of water (T), and some lab equipment (U), so yeah, the baseball coulda hit something around there. But I also agree with lfrage, if he hit the baseball, then this thing would never have ended.
this was neat having all the letters scattered around in the house and them shouting the letters outloud. my father had a set of rubber letters scattered around in the house and he told me he threw the letters away in the trash can.
I liked this one too,it was very well done. I loved the fast sequence when they did the alphabet again and the guy shouting O and W that was hysterical. Another well done classic clip.
Yes! I've been wanting to see this forever now! Thank you so much for posting this, it was one of my favorite alphabet sequences "Sesame Street" ever did---thanks for sharing it!
Love this! I remember seeing this as a kid, and when the phone rang (just before 'W'), my grandmother ran to grab her phone! I must've had the TV on pretty loud...
I remeber this black and white cartoon, I just like watching it move to the left ha ha

Well, here's one we'll never see again, due in part to the smoking. But this was always a favorite!

That goat had to ram the television set revealing the letter "n", otherwise that part would have been boring. :-)

Classic. Now how about the one where poor Kermit made a version that completely backfired on him.
