Well it doesn't if you play against players that actually use their brain while playing. I't like master yi or ryze in LoL or sprayguns in cs. You can just brainlessly click to kill noobs, but brainless clicking won't do a thing to skilled players. And if you have a problem with wm1 pyros killing you, you might want to watch some tutorials or something on countering them (it's easy, by the way)

Notice how all his kills are Spies (Whom pyro hard counters), Snipers (Cannon fodder on the front line), Cornered engies, Demos and Medics. Plus he's using the backburner (free crits on baddies) and has a medic for half the video. Go and try this, see how hard you will fail.

Play on good servers, you'll get ass-kicked playin like that. Pyro is SO MUCH harder than that (and more fun too). Your main enemies are : snipers (you basically cant do anything until you crossed the whole front line and ambushed them). Soldiers, they'll kill you before you approach them. Heavies for obvious reasons (they turn back and OS you). And other pyros, that's where you gotta aim well (or you die).

Pyro's my main class and I have seen a lot of players who use the "ole" M1+W griefing line .... these players often if always get dominated by a superior class "Pyro" ALL classes use keys M1+W if in doubt try not using them... 10/10 for a amusing video.. The Flamethrower has a really short range! All it needs is a Heavy, Sniper, Soldier or just any other class that can fire accuratly from afar, to take that Pyro out!

All it takes is a Soldier or Demo, or even a half-way decent Heavy. Seeing as you're not using M2, you're just cannon fodder when it comes to the Soldier and Demo, and the Heavy has so much health that running straight at him is suicide as a Pyro, assuming he's not already dwindled down or preoccupied.
