dawn of the dead had slow pace full zombies who are brain dead but on the other hand there the other zombies the meat seeking runners who kill for food.

well also the zombies in deadrising is more of a "parasite" thing. the thing that actualy turns them into zombies is a small bee larvae in their head. which is why head shots r one hit kills. zombrex keeps the larvae from infecting the body.

Just 1 thing, WHY ARE ZOMBIES ALWAYS SLOW?

look at resistance, the movie I am Legend, and much other things and they are always fast there, that's more awesomer to kill so i think dead rising isn't my call.

The reason why the zombies in Dead Rising are slow is because Dead Rising is a parody of Dawn of the Dead. And therefore, it too, is supposed to be a semi-parable of the working-class and all of mankind's thirst for meat with our shambling addiction to it.

@aywv Sorry dude, but that's not the "real reason", 1st of all many cells from their brain are dead, that's why they don't think. And from 1932(1st movie with zombies) since 90' they were like in slow motion. After that thing they made zombies like ghouls. Those are actually real zombies, except those creature from the end, (mutants). =)
