By the way u cannot have a band as EA decided that it was about your sim's rise to fame and no others, but you can play the guitar while you sing.There is 3 new professions Singer,magician,acrobats but the dj is just a night activity. The difference between the limited edition and Katy Perry Collector edition is that the limited comes with a new stage and the collectors edition (Katy Perry) comes with the new stage(from the limited edition),Katy perry hairstyle, stage props, outfits ect. I don't see what game EA the impression that we WANTED showtime. Yes, I can understand people wanting magicians and singing, but that could have been implemented in an update since they already missed Late Night. I've seen people asking for all kinds of stuff such as Open For Business, University, SEASONS, but I haven't seen ANYONE want a Las Vegas based EP. FFS, EA.

The only thing that's tempting me to buy this expansion pack is the Magician feature.. I get the feeling particularly 'gifted' Sims will use real magic, not only on stage, but on a day to day basis: Urban Magic perhaps? It would sure make life a lot easier to teleport to different lots, conjure up food, or even help the garden thrive!

Personally I think all of these features should have been included with late night, also in the first announcement about showtime the "visiting" your friends was misleading, it sounded to me like you could actually take your sim, in your game, and go visit your irl friend's sim and interact with each other. But its not like that at all so i doubt i'll be "porting" my superstar to anyones game lol.

I really don't understand why people are getting all worked up about this expansion pack. Sims is about playing it out as long as possible. This just makes it longer and gives you more options. Calm down. If they plan on making a seasons pack, then they well. Complaining about it on Youtube will do nothing. Why don't you all go and try and make an expansion pack see how easy it'll be. Like others have said, if you want seasons so badly go play Sims 2 or go outside and see some real life seasons!
