@mytimesfirstclass Nope you need or a softmod or a hardmod, but because your Wii is new thats not even possible, hardmod is though.

@dannyruleztheworld Im not sure, but I guess not, because once you burn an ISO to it the disks becomes unrewritable.

@TheNickel500 I guess you mean DVD+R? Yes it could work then your DVD burner needs to simulate -R on your +R disk you need to change the settings in ImgBurn if you want to do that, and not all burners can do this.

nope, didn't work. 4th dvd that I burn and it doesn't work. The 4th I bought a dvd-R instead of DVD+R. Didn't change a thing.

@Juijitsu9 Clearly you are doing something wrong, the burning itself or the softmod isnt correct, I dont know what, good luck finding your problem.

@riyyi2 I don't know, could be the games. I bought a 4 GB SD card at walmart on special with a SD reader. I'll try it with that methode. Must be because of the software update on the newer nintendo wii's. Even the IOSPatcher.exe and WiiUR_V1.0.exe dosen't work on the 3 games I dl'ed. 2 of the games I got from isohunt, the other one from wiiso.

@riyyi2 It could be my version of nintendo wii thats the problem. I have version 4.2u I think. I tried using the sd card way and then found out that it wont work with an sd card over 2 gbs... I'll try it the 2 gb way with the homebrew channel.

@ButterflygirlKarla Just use IMGBurn its espessialy made for burning .iso files and you need to know if your drive support the special burning, search youtube on how to change the settings.

getting gecko for wii then running a burnt game under gecko in the homewbrew channel should fix your problem =)

I tried what you did. I bought that brand with a dvd-r and burned a wii iso that I've downloaded(NTSC-J game called Fullmetal Alchemist Prince of Dawn). I've already checked verify, I already put the speed that the disc would recommend.

When I put the burned DVD-R in the Wii console, it doesn't read the disc.

Am I doing it wrong???????????????:(

When i uploaded to the wii the neogamma uploads but i wont read the disk. It says disk error. Can you please help. Do i need to decrypt the ios?

@ButterflygirlKarla You need to burn it on a DVD-R disk not a +R or you need to have DVD writer that can write the .ISO on a different way so DVD+Rs work also, you need to change the ImgBurn settings though.
