@clavin2007 actually Champ is arguably one of if not the best in the game. He was the only CB who didnt give up a TD last year. And he only allowed 40 some odd reptions and just over 600 yards. FYI, if you compaire him and Nnamdi Champs reception % last year was just a hair over 50% Nnamdi's was just a hair under 80% nnamdi wasnt tested as much as Champ was last year. But WR's had a much higher reception % on Nnamdi than they did on Champ. Revis is the only guy who even comes close to Champ!

In 06' he was tested 36 times only 4 passes were completed none for more than 20 yards and none for a TD. Yet he had 10 ints thats 1 int for every 3 balls thrown at him. And he had 84 tackles that year, that is arguably the best season any defender at any position has ever had... and you think he's overated? Even at 32 he's still arguably one of if no the best!

I think you are wrong. Because if teams threw at champ like they used he'd have 60 or 70 picks in his career by now. And there is now excuse for nnamdi only having 30 tackles, because champ bailey without injuries will always get 70-89 tackles every year. that's because he get's himself involved in the game, while nnamdi only waits till the ball comes his way. In 06' he was tested 36 times only 4 passes were completed none for more than 20 yards and none for a TD. Yet he had 10 ints thats 1 int for every 3 balls thrown at him. And he had 84 tackles that year, that is arguably the best season any defender at any position has ever had... and you think he's overated? Even at 32 he's still arguably one of if no the best!

chapomendoza, i wouldnt rely on stats to compare corners. the year the nfl found out about asomugha i think in 07, he had 8 picks. since then nobody throws his way AT ALL. i mean like maybe 20 times a season. so thats why nnamdi's stats are somethin around 30 tackles and 1 INT because he's not challenged, and they barely run at him either. I love champ, i still hate that bailey-portis BS trade, but Nnamdi is #1, not champ, and not Revis

I think you are wrong. Because if teams threw at champ like they used he'd have 60 or 70 picks in his career by now. And there is now excuse for nnamdi only having 30 tackles, because champ bailey without injuries will always get 70-89 tackles every year. that's because he get's himself involved in the game, while nnamdi only waits till the ball comes his way. Naw,tackles arent a big stat for cbs but even with less tackles he forced more fumbles. anyways you dont know that champ will catch 10pics in 4 yrs thats an "IF" and deion has done better than champ while playing pro baseball. his WHOLE CAREER, deion played in 188 games and champ has already played in 146 in 4 less yrs! that means he would have to catch 10pics force 9fumbles score 5 more picsix tds and im not even going to embarass you by comparing pr/kr yds and offensive yds.

naw i was telling you about everything else to show that he focus less on corner because it just came natural to him and 42 games is less than 3 seasons because thats how much more games he's played than champ so champ would need to catch 10 pics in 2 seasons and 10 games. and deion played less corner while playing on offense too while champ is a corner and plays every snap on defense at corner.

first off you have to consider how much (or how little) champ bailey is actually tested. most team change there game plans with him in the game. Champ has created such an intimidation that denver had to sign another shut down CB because teams just wouldnt throw to the right side of the field. now how do you measure that in a stat?

how can he run a relay by himself and pass it off to a teammate? ha i do agree that it was a stupid mistake but not a stupid play, if it was stupid then he wouldnt have done it. but because he did and he didnt mean to fumble, then its a mistake.

cause hes younger?thats bull... i didnt see champ intercept 10 passes in only 7 starting weeks when he was younger..sure his 2006 season he intercepted 10 but he also started about twice as much as cromartie. Champ bailey only intercepted about an average 3-4 times a year in his early days...

Champ is the best cornerback in the nfl because he is so good at making guys look open.Smith,harrison,johnson,driver,and even randy moss. He can cover any receiver in the league one on one. And cromartie isn't even the second best corner al harris is.

I have seen chad johnson give champ the buisness on monday night football. I have seen t.o have a hundred yard game against him. He is not even the best right now the best conerback right now it antonio cromartie Look at the numbers and he does not get embarassed when its a nationally televised game.He steps it up. Plus if u wnat to get technical deion tutored champ when he was a redskin. He came to the redskins and took darryl green starting position from him. And darryl is a hall of famer!

you see i saw champ shut down Marvin Harrison and Chad Johnson not even be able to get 40 yards on champ a few seasons ago. Plus champ doesn't get many interceptions cause quarterbacks hardly throw his way. The most important stat for corners is catches allowed and for champ that number is very low.

hey anothablen. U righ Champ did get dogged by T.O and Chad Johnson. But T.O had all those stats in the first half. The second Half he did not catch a pass dumbass. And for Chad the last game they played Chad got held down to under 30 yards and no tds. After the game Chad said the reason why they lost is because Palmer wasn't throwing his way, hmm I wonder why? Those are the only to people that had a good day on champ. So shut da fuck up. He is betta then Cromartie. Ask anybody in da league.
