Don't you mean glide wax?

Hard wax = grip wax for powder snow, for classical skis.

Keep the terms standard. it's confusing enough.

Scrape out the channel while the wax is still warm.

That's the lazy way to wax. Traditionally it's really done with wax sticks and a rectangular cork for the final smoothing of the wax. It's quick, you can do it anywhere, and no electricity needed!

Cold Waxes and powders are very hard and brittle. If allowed to cool, they will chip taking most of the wax off the base. We like to do an initial scrape of cold waxes while still warm. So to clarify: do an initial scrape while warm, allow the ski to cool, scrape again and brush. Sorry for any confusion. We will have another video showing the hot scrape cleaning method that was mentioned by the viewer.

I've read that in the Swix and Toko literature, but they did not explain why - thanks for the explanation.

Just curious, but why use a copper and not a bronze or steel?
