How fast does your car go? I´ve got a 1,6 FSI too and my topspeed is pretty much exactly 200 km/h maybe 215 downhill :) I think thats very good for a 110HP car.

@heldgop No i have a manual as well.On the speedo mine does 210-215 as well but i was talking about GPS speed.The speedo isnt very exact on the topspeed.

Confermo... è una macchina lenta (poi io che ne vengo da un Fiat Coupè 2000 Turbo Plus non ne parlaimo proprio!!!! Ma quanto ci sto risparmiando di benzina e di punti sulla patente mi fa solo rimpiangere le grandi prestazioni del coupè, per il resto sono soddisfattissimo della mia Golg Sportline 1,6, comoda, economica, sicura e .... per me poi che dove andavo con i limiti massimi a 130 in autostrada?sconsigliata a chi vuole correre (o andare per sottrazione di punti patente) ciao.

Why do people say its 1.4? Because they do not have 1.6 in their area? The 1.4 golfs look exactly as 1.6, dashboard, exterior and all, plus the performance of this one is better than other 1.6 golfs so definitely not a 1.4.

My Golf's motorchip is tuned , now he does 0-100 km/h in 4.8 !! I must say , it was pretty expensive :P

You can do huge power from any engine, if you got time and money, but it can't be effective unless radical modifications on the suspension. The stock suspension with good 225mm tyres can do 0-100 at least 5.5-6 s on a FWD Golf III-V because of the weak traction. So I think, you have any suspension upgrade.

this should be 102hp not fsi.fsi engine is applied on golf V.besides,i have fsi and its rpm responses and engine sound seem more aggressive than this,and redline at 6500rpm :)
