you guys DO know that the main reason NC lost was because during a certain battle where NC sprung a trap on the DRF with like 120 NC supers... the server essentially crashed.. you couldn't log out or do anything, except Raiden could... so they went around massacring all of the NC super caps that were stuck in system that couldn't log out... took raiden 8 hours to kill all the SC's... after that... it was lost

Unfortunately PL is not what it was a few years ago. They've recruited many fail pilots/corps. Mercs for hire at their best. They were much better when they operated in small gang warfare but I'll admit the hellcat fleets are nice.

A couple things here.

1. the DRF know perfectly well that they cant win directly against the NC, so they pay PL Hundreds of Billions to do it for them (600B anyone?)

2. Using this cash, obtained by bots (dont bother denying it, head to DRF space to see it yourself), PL gets a constant force of 150-200 SUPERCAPITALS ready to go constantly.

3. There is no theoretical way for the NC to fight against this without bringing more supercaps, which they cannot do, because their members don't bot.

Likewise, a player bubbling a gate with a Heavy Interdictor won't get in on kills if his camp is engaging ships way off the gate. FC's who make calls from cloaky ships so they don't get primaried are VERY important...and also don't get on the killboards. Can you say they don't "actually play the game"?
