Messi is a great player and when running with the ball he is at another level to everyone else. Ronaldo is a different player though, he is to tall to be able to do a 'messi'. He is a brilliant passer, is great with running with ball at speed, has tremendous tricks, can shoot/score with either foot, score from 40yrds, is one of the best in the air and amazing at set pieces. He has a better all round game for me than messi, would have liked to see Ronaldo and Messi swap teams for a season :-)

Better all round game? First off Messi is a far better passer. Messi is overall better technically! Ronaldo is faster off the ball. but Messi is quicker and more agile with the ball! Messi is more versitile on the pitch, you will see him everywhere! Ronaldo is far stronger but what good does that do when you dive or "go down easily" half the time, while Messi practically bounces off defenders. If you check last season stats u will see that messi scored the same amount of outside the box goals
