My lfriend has no family to turn to. She can't live here. I have a husband, and elderly mother and a grandaughter living in a small home. She needs her Wal-Mart job or she will be homeless. Tonight she was told by a manager that Wal-Mart is going to list the job projects for each employee. As he/she punched in on the clock he will see his list of duties for that shift. Each job duty will have an alloted time for it to be finished. IF the employee doesn't finish he will be written up, fired.
These time allottments are estimated by a manager. They are not researched and time studied. These managers don't take into account that ppl are on their periods, sick, need to go to restrooms, that customers keep stopping them to talk or just asking a question, when it's many, takes up time over a shift period. Elderly must drink fluids often or they will have kidney, bladder problems. Timing employees on projects...4-6 pallets of clothing, each 7 ft tall, to get out, is impossible.
It's impossible when we get return buggies full of merchandise, sometimes several during a shift, customers that rip open packages, spill food and drinks on the floor (or their kids), tear up merchandise...and demand long minutes of time, sometimes as much as an hour or 40 min, over complaining or debating on why we don't have a product or if they should by a product. Employees must clean all this up. The torn up boxes and packages take the longest, there are so many, often buggies full.
Now they are going to start listing job duties for each person for each shift as they punch in on the time clock. Each project will have an estimated time to finish. IF that employee can't finish, they will be written up and fired. This is illegal. This is employee abuse. What happened to human rights. The employees will all be robots.

What's with the audio drop-out? Probably YouTube's fault. Anyway, more on-topic, I've never bought anything at a Wal Mart.
