Great video doc, I sell Tempstar and Climate master for the Corkensteel supply house out of Louisville Ky and these are a great seller. We stock em by the pallet loads....
@drzarkloff do a youtube search for "space people from the future." I believe you actually inspired the music video. the group that made the song searches the corners of youtube for motivation, and I am 99% sure they found you back in 2007.
I think great videos and I have a question. What´s the nominal tension that exist in USA, in single phase and three phase? The relation between phases is √3, like in Brazil? Here exist 127/220, 220/380, 254/440 and 380/660V. Please help me.
Thanks Dr. Z. I will try them out this summer on my new Goodman 3Ton Condensing Unit. Can you get them cheap online? Great videos.. I live to see everyone of them. Peace.
Doc Z nice clip where can i get those pads? we got the cork rubber coated ones. I need to do a job with your type. keeps the units bottom from rusting out helps keep the critters out.
@84randomdude The system will do okay without them. The rubber pads prevent excessive noise from vibration and they allow the condensing unit to drain properly.
Hay Dr.Z there are 2 kinds of those pads the rubber and cork and the ones you have there. The ones you have are the best. We cant use those under cond. units in our area due to the anchors we have to use. But they work great for rooftops when the Scroll comp. kicks on, our you have a old unit that vibrates a little lol. I use a razor to cut them.
i like the video and a neat thing these pads but where the hell do people mow there lawn in january? lol and can u pick these up at any parts house? oh and how bout that glue u used on the armaflex in the other video u posted a while back?
They're 'waffles'! Not for human consumption. The safest way to separate them is to 'nip' the membrane between the pads with a pair of diagonal cutting pliers. Then, just tear'em apart. The knife thing scares me.
After the rubber pad install do you still have to mount the ac condenser to the concrete pad?

@Nutintoitbut2doit You could put the rubber pads under the unit before anchoring the condensing unit to the pad.
