If either Brownback or Paul are on the election ballot Paul would get my vote, if he is not on it then Brownback. But Mr. Brownback I so far am on board with what you are saying and in your other issues.
Satan: Is there something wrong with my abortion clinics?
Liberals: Oh no we kill 4000 unborn a day through shall we say surgical removal. It's selective breading. We eliminate human life in the name of convinience.
Satan: Then what is the problem?
Liberals: CHRISTIANS ON THEIR KNEES PRAYING AGAINST IT!!
Senator, why do you and others on the religious-right piously talk about protecting life while supporting a needless war? Following the prince of peace and supporting 'preemptive war' don't add up in my book.
If we're so pro-life, why do we still have such a high infant mortality rate? Why do we still the death penalty on the books? Why don't we have healthcare for all minors (at the very least)?
You just considered an infant the same as a person who brutally murders others and is found guilty by a group of peers without any doubt. A child is only guilty of being unwanted.
So you're saying, if the government allowed you to murder your neighbor if you saw fit it would be right? If your child angers you, you created them you execute them? Look at the facts, women get abortions because babies are inconvenient. You watch a babies heart beat weeks into its conception and then try and call abortion a choice, it's murder.
Well, technically a fetus is not necessarally alive. Its operating on a cellular level.
So no harm done.
Another point: What would you do if you were raped?
Would you happily throw away your god given human rights for something that was thrust upon you from what could (arguably) be an agent of Satan? (if your into the whole religous thing).
Then surely mean that Brownback is an agent of Satan.
It is a woman's right to decide on wether or not she concieves.
But, I assume that as the party of "small governmnt" you also believe it is wrong to impose your religious views on others, so you must be pro-choice...right?
You must also oppose hunting and the death penalty...right.
My friends mother had a funeral for her miscarriaged baby. When i asked where she was burried in our local cemetary, the mother told me "Near the Big Tree." Every time i walked through the graveyard, I saw big trees everywhere. Some day I'll find her.
I really like Sen Brownback. I interviewed him in SC following the debates. What impressed me was that in person he presents so much better tv. He is probably the most personable of the candidates. His wife is charming as well and stood right by his side. He is the most socially conservative of all the republicans running. Al Milliron, Politisite, Iron Mill News Service
What about the lives of the Iraqis? We have entered a war whether Brownback supported our entry or not. Now we have a responsibility to restore to the Iraqis what we have destroyed. It is our obligation. The majority of the soldiers in Iraq support the war. Who are you to say whose life is more important? The Iraqi or the Soldier?
Terrorist started a war against us. The soldiers chosen to fight to make sure we won't be taken over. So, be thankful you can say that not under communism government. That way you can say what you say.
The worst, but most prevalent form of tearing down an opponent is through the use of a straw-man, holding up a person, claiming you know his beliefs and then tearing him down with personal attacks. The logic is very often flawed. When voting in 2008 look at a candidate for his values, not the media's interpretation of him.
Brownback says that "all life is precious". Very true, except you can't have any children because Americans are not allowed to marry or even communicate with foreigners. Brownback's atrocious 'International Marriage Broker Regulation Act' makes it a felony to write a love letter to a foreigner. Penalties are up to $25,000 and 5 years in prison!
Brownback claims to be Pro-Life, but he partnered with abortion proponent Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) in cosponsoring the 'International Marriage Broker Regulation Act'. One of the most unconstitutional, anti-family, draconian laws in U.S. history. Now a criminal background report must be sent by postal mail to a foreigner, and approved back by postal mail before consenting adults can communicate. How absurd! IMBRA implies that ALL Americans are violent abusers and wife beaters.

Let me spell it out for you. Back in the 1800's who was in favor of freedom for slaves? Republicans? Who was in favor of owners rights? Democrats.
The reason is simple - owners can vote, slaves cannot.
Just like now, women can votes, but the unborn cannot. The only thing the democrats care about is getting elected.
That is why the support amnesty for 13 million illegal mexicans. It is to get more votes. They could care less about right and wrong.

Who isn't pro life? The point is not whether you believe that killing a fetus is wrong or right.
The point is whether you think the government should be aloud to stop you from making decisions about your own body.
No one is anti-life (or un-pro-life). That would be absurd.

If prolife people believe a fetus is a person, why don't they have funerals for miscarriages, complete with expensive caskets and plots?

Brownback supports Pro-Life.
Brownback supported a bill requiring criminal background checks for foreign dating sites.
Logic doesn't work out for me to correlate the two well enough to make such a claim that Brownback is not pro-life, NoIMBRA.

"Very true, except you can't have any children because Americans are not allowed to marry or even communicate with foreigners."
Please read this sentence aloud.
I can't have children because I can't send a love letter to a foreigner. Perfectly sound argument against a candidate. (sarcasm)
