I was screaming and hyperventilating and trying to unfasten the harness so i could drop out. They had to hold my arms by my sides so i couldn't kill myself.

@FluffbearRCT It was a fair few years ago now, when breakdowns were very common. I suspect a sensor played up, reporting a false positive therefore shutting down the ride - if I remember rightly, it was down for 20 or 30 minutes - definatly long enough for us to get 'queue jump' passes.
i went last sunday and i was petrefied but then went on it again after nearly pooing my kecks and screaming "IM GOING TO DIE" at the top of my luings what a great day !!
I had a similar experience to this the ride had completed the circuit but then entered the brake run we then started to move towards the station suddenly when half the train was in the station it stopped we were there for 20mins but in our case they got it moving again I feel sorry for these people!

@xolozziibaybee most likely it wasn't an emergency stop. an e-stop could have been reset before an evacuation was necessary. it was most likely a ride error that the mechanics knew would take a while to fix so rather than keeping the guests on the train the whole time, they unloaded them instead.
I work on Superman: Ultimate Flight at Six Flags Great Adventure which is a B&M flying coaster just like Air so the two rides work the same way.

@standubz They are all at different times, and some even say you could came back and use it on other days. Most people don't get right back on anyway.

No you seriously dont.. I was on a trip.. last ride i went on and We was late for the bus back.. Hanging there for 20 mins before they got us off.. haha.. uncomfy after a while.. esp for us guys..

You wouldn't have had to queue again then as everybody in the queue was given a pass to 'queue jump' later in the day.
