@diego13x The sounds were recorded into the MPC. The sample is from a record and the drums were recorded into the MPC also. All the chopping and sequencing was done on the MPC. I just used a PC to record the final finished beat.

The MPC doesn't make beats only you :) Type "Digable Planets - 9th Wonder (Kixnare Remix)" This guy makes beatz on Fruity Loops and Cool Edit and eats most of the mpc made beatz...

9th uses now pro tools. Watch the new interviews with him. But personaly i don't like the mpc series. Ensoniq ASR's or even a cobo with akai s950 + Ableton live and MIDI pad kontroller are better than a mpc. (I worked a bit on the 2000xl, 1000 and 500 so i know this maschines)
