@randallschecter First his stance is all wrong when he is firing the pistol...it gets a little better at the end. No magazine retention at all...that's a big no no in tactical shooting. When he did reload the slide was still to the rear when he fired...that can break the slide or the spring. That rolling crap...doesn't work all you do is lose sight pic sight alignment. And most of the demo was with a pistol. You do not use a pistol in open field engagements like that knife to a gun fight thing.

I'm curious as to why he doesn't keep the spent mags. Even in a training environment you should play how you fight. If you dump the mags entirely what are you going to do when you get resupplied?

I'm presuming in case of a jam. To save wasting ammo to practice jamming we used to use half full or 2-3 rnd magazines to simulate a jam. To clear simply reload a new magazine and cycle the action. Saving on time, and possibly your life. If you have to faff around trying to clear the chamber, then take the mag out, reinsert the round (in the case of a misfeed) then it takes too long =]

Safety first... you'd be sorry if you fucked up on the range and hurt/killed somone. Ive seen shit happen. I may be a Safety range nazi but majority of people will agree with me. Im sure you wouldnt like to be shot in the chest or face or even foot on a range by some stupid neglegent shooter. Repition of safe handling is a good thing!

sorry i have a keen eye for safety. maybe because the experiance i have. dont worry maybe in your 9 + years in the army you'll eventually mount up to the the experiance i have. I was wondering that too but the flak jacket looks to be an older interceptor adaption vest. Only thing is i see a rear sapi plate pouch spot and that has me wondering if its a modern day interceptor with the 9mm web interior along with sapi plates.
