Poodles are very smart and very good companions. Their roots trace back to French hunting dogs (mainly water hunters). Ignorant people like you, who "sterotype" poodles, are very unfortunate. Why you'd insult an animal that someone cleary loves speaks very poorly of your character. May a stranger insult something that you hold dear upon no basis whatsoever.

Completely agree! I have two Poodles of my own who are incredibly intelligent and funny, and I wouldn't be without them.

Poodles are the 2nd most intelligent breed of dog there is - second only to Border Collies - fact!

Can I just point out though if you don't mind, that Poodles were actually originally German Water Dogs, and not French. The French 'adopted' the breed as their own long after they were commonly used in Germany to retrieve game from the water.
