touhou is a pretty big fanbase and attracts much attention although most things are fandoms of fandoms becuz the original artwork is pretty crap

The reason why is because ZUN doesn't want Touhou mainstreamed. He doesn't want too much attention.

@P00nez Well, on a more informative and less dick-ish note, Touhou is actually a game series; a Bullet Hell, or Curtain Fire game. So far its up to game number 12.5, including a 7.5, 9.5, 10.5, and a 12.3. Games 6-current are all made by one person, Zun. Music, Characters, Story, everything. The characters in the Bad Apple!! PV are from games 6-10, since 10 was the most recent out when this vid came out. If you want any more info about Touhou, feel free to message me.
